This place has fantastic food great staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ve been there four times and I would highly recommend everyone to go back. The owner Randy is extremely polite, respectful and a great host. He helps with anything that needs to get done at the restaurant.

? After I read all reviews, I decided to go. First time over there…..Love Service and Atmosphere…. but FOOD!!! Was terrible ?. Fetuchini and Vongole all full all water ? ., clams wasn’t clean properly., we are feeling in disappointment at the moment ?. No flavor at all. I could see mash potato in my plate turning soup with an Osobuco on the top. So sad ? ?. I am not talking about the check I just paid because I was on Shock even until a left the place. That was no way to console my feelings no even with Bon Jovi music in my car. ? ??

My experience at Osso Buco in Hillsdale are fantastic!! I've been there a bunch of times with my grandparents and we love going there for dinner. Sometimes, I usually order Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parm with Spaghetti, Orachette with sausage, or Chicken Francese for dinner. The food is delicious at Osso Buco. The staff are very nice at Osso Buco. Osso Buco is the greatest Italian Restaurant in Hillsdale!!

My mother, husband, 2 children and I came for dinner this past week. We are from out of town visiting family, but I wish we lived here because we would come to this restaurant every week. The hospitality and service was outstanding. Our server, who I believe may be the owner, was incredibly warm and accommodating to our family especially my 20 month old son. Brought out a special veggie tray for a “salad” prior to our meals for him, gave me extra wet paper towels to help with his face and hands, offered to make a special dessert for the kids. Just outstanding and warm service. We felt welcomed the entire time. The food was phenomenal too. Please try the gnocchi pesto and the Italian grilled cheese (appetizer). Can’t wait to come visit my mom again so we can come back to this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for being so kind to us!!!

They try hard with good service; but it is important that all main courses arrive at the same time and the dishes are removed promptly. I think they were short staffed and under pressure, the food was just average as was the cost. There was no outstanding dish the I could recommend.

We were there to celebrate a baptism, Semi isolated room was very nice. Sadly, we were under a time constraint, and our event had to be finished before the dinner crowd came in.. and the rush may have affected food and service quality.
Salad was drowned in spicy dressing. The chicken Parmigiano was awful. Serving was anything but homemade. Looked like frozen "cookie cutter" piece of chicken.

The food is amazing & plentiful. The staff is beyond friendly & attentive. The owner is very accommodating & is always present, making sure everything runs smoothly. They have the MOST DELICIOUS osso bucco you'll ever eat in New Jersey - and they have veal, pork & my favorite, lamb osso bucco. Everything they serve is incredible. Out daughter is vegetarian & is always pleased at how many choices there are for her. They also have a bar which is nice if you want to order a cocktail.
Parking: The immediate parking lot is small for how busy they are. There's plenty of parking nearby so it's really not an issue.
