I like Stephanie barbecue been eating this for years the hillside location was my favorite because it's calmer then the Elizabeth location. Since visiting this location in hillside recently there quality of food socks the shrimp are so small the chicken was the smallest 1/2 I ever saw. If you can't afford the quality of food to satisfy the customer idk hillside location is not good portions of food

First of all, the lady standing at the desk speaks extremely rudely, almost as if she is scolding. When I first entered the store there was a terrible smell. and I waited for the my order for at least 25 minutes. A place I will never go again. I regret it.

Everytime I order it’s perfect hits the spot every time. Love the food love the service.
The food was terrible it was cold undercooked no barbecue on the barbecue ribs and no seasoning on anything else. And whoever kept answering the phone when I called kept slamming the phone down in my face when I asked to speak to the manager. I was really looking forward to the new experience of the restaurant and their food but I will not be ever using them again in fact my kids had to order Popeye's dinner online so they'd have something to eat. In fact I won't even feed this to my dog it went into the trash

Went for the first time yesterday May 15th to the Hillside location, let's just say that was my first and last time. First they didn't have veggies AT ALL, Then there was no seasoning on ANY of the food. They gave us very small potions, the meat was overcooked, we asked for yellow rice and was given PANS of white rice. The shrimp was overcook and wasn't cleaned because it still had the tracks in them. We ordered BBQ sauce they gave us a tiny sample container for a whole slab of ribs. We spent $84.00 for trash the only thing that was worth while in that order was the Pepsi. The FINAL STRAW for my family and I was finding a big glob of light colored hair in our order of black beans. My family and I were highly disappointed and disgusted NEVER AGAIN!
I want to support local business but Husband just picked up an order. Please check what you are taking home. Ribs completely burned. I have pictures here that I can’t upload . So disappointed. Today is May 11th 2024.
