We went for a night out not for dinner, to meet my daughter and her friends from college. The bar gives frat house-club vibe at night. Beer pong tables in the back bar. The music was great, definitely loud! We loved the drink specials clock they run drink and shot specials all night every 15 mins. It was a lot of fun, and the bartenders were great. They were friendly and interactive
Since they revamped the entire establishment, added a stage, and changed to a new menu, I rate my experience here 5/5. My band played here during their first Spring Concert Series and had nothing but great hospitality, friendly staff and security, and the management was a pleasure to work with. The same cannot be said of other music venues in the area. Highly recommend 80 River.
We went to 80 River for the penn state game with a huge group. The reservation specialist got us a table no problem. When I called back and mentioned that two of our friends just got engaged so we were hoping for a bigger table, they not only accommodated on a busy night, they carved out an entire portion of the lounge for us and let us decorate! They even offered their own helium tank and balloons. At many other places this would have been a hassle and a rental fee but 80 River...
