I came here for brunch once and loved it! They found us seating, even though we didn't make a reservation. This time I decided to come back for dinner and made a reservation for 6. Most of my party arrived on time and had drinks at the table and had a good time. I unfortunately had a situation that I had to take care of with my son and arrived 30 minutes late. However, when I got there, I saw we were seated in the back room (which we loved), as it felt very private. The wait staff did not rush my party to order even though 2 of us were late. The entire staff was very considerate even on a busy Saturday night. All the food we ordered, from the caesar salad, to the pasta's and chicken were delicious! We will definitely be back, as the we felt very welcomed, not rushed and the hospitality and food were amazing!
Our server was nice but difficult to understand, heavy accent. I felt she should have checked the table more often. We were without beverages for a while my coffee was luke warm and I asked for cream that never came. My dining partner asked for iced coffee that arrived to the table with completely melted ice and watered down coffee. It's a shame, beautiful restaurant good food and service is just okay. There was also a draft coming from the windows and doors we were seated next to. Our legs were cold the entire meal.
We had a wonderful time at Amanda's for brunch. Everything we had was delicious. The Il Benedetto exceeded my expectations and what wonderful ambiance! Everyone was so kind to our kids as well. We look forward to returning!
Great day out. The restaurant was adorable. Live fire, beautiful environment, snow falling, attentive service. Food was great, empanadas were perfect. Cesar salad not my favorite but the omelets were tasty and potatoes were perfect.
My mother and I had a wonderful Sunday brunch at my favorite booth by the window (to the left right when you walk in). I really missed this place and was so happy to return now that I've moved back home to NY and see that it's still the same place that I love with the warm, welcoming staff and the same great food. I will definitely be back soon! :)
Thought this might be a good choice for New Year's brunch but I guess I was wrong. We won't be coming back for a while. Not busy at all and the food was lukewarm ... plates were said to be hot but they weren't. Breakfast potatoes were barely warm. For each of us each meal something was wrong. Staff asked if we wanted more coffee after the meal was over but not during meal. Server came back after halfway through the meal as she should have checked on us within a few minutes. Just shows the inexperience of the staff. For being the first clients in the restaurant and no other patrons ... food should have all came out hot.
Two things of note: we arrived early, the restaurant was empty and the host sat us all the way in the back room. Why? I don't know, but why weren't we sat in the front of the house? We asked to move, and we did. Secondly, and more importantly my daughter has a nut allergy which we disclosed when we arrived. Then we ordered a dessert which the waiter said had a liqueur with nut extract. He told us when he served it, so I asked for another without the liqueur.
Had brunch here after a big snow storm and it was delicious! Nicely decorated for Christmas and fairly quiet morning. Would come back again!
Great choice for a nice evening and / or special occasions. We had several guests with food allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish and gluten) and the staff was very helpful. Food was excellent. Highly recommend and would definitely go back
Our dining experience was fabulous!! This is by far my favorite restaurant in Hoboken. The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the food is out of this world. It will forever be my favorite spot when I want to spend a long afternoon out at brunch in town. Thank you for everything!!

The brunch was amazing. These were some of the best Argentine empanadas my mom and I have ever had. The home fries were delicious with our Benedict's of choice and the blueberry pie sundae was superb. Santiago's service was also top tier.
Great atmosphere and good food. We went for brunch and although we ordered a basic breakfast (eggs and breakfast potatoes and empanadas) it was all quite good. The one downside was service was very slow.
Great food, we were seated next to a large party but they proactively moved us without us asking since they didn't realize the party would be so loud. I do find the restaurant to be a little on the noisy side but the food is fantastic.
Food was bad. Salmon was dry and fishy taste and smell. Eggplant parmesan was like plastic, was not cooked at all. We skipped dessert didn't trust it would be good. Service was nice.
Delicious food and excellent service. We liked it so much that we returned the following evening.
