Coffee is really high quality and gluten free lemon cake is delicious! Baristas are very friendly and accommodating. They always have creative seasonal drinks too! Love this coffee shop because it has a lot of character with an old bank vault inside and other original touches.

Stopped during a train delay. Great flat white and the gluten free lemon cake was excellent!

I went with my husband and we will be returning. We got two cappuccinos, coffee cake, and lemon bar. AMAZING baked goods. Returning if I need a sweet treat in the future.

I’ve been here before and remember it being solid. I got a drip coffee today. It was lukewarm, not the biggest deal but slightly off putting start. As I got halfway through I noticed a bunch of grittiness in my teeth. They didn’t filter the cup properly, it was full of grinds. Threw out half of a $5 cup of coffee. Annoying

Updated and edited based on owners response and how they handled the situation.

Most literal "hole in the wall" café neatly tucked away about 300 feet from Hoboken Terminal and Hoboken promenade! The coffee quality is excellent and the pastry selection is rather impressive, featuturing a decent selection of gluten-free items. There might be a line during morning rush hours. Beware: no bathroom and no seating. While rather spartan, on most busy mornings, this is my go-to spot in Hoboken❤️

Best coffee in Hoboken, and very consistent

Drinks here are usually solid but the customer service from the baristas can be a lot friendlier.I got there minutes before closing and the barista on shift (6/5) coldly answered that they were closing up when I asked. Had got something simple being an iced almond milk chai latte with the barista making it still being unfriendly.Ended up needing to throw out the entire drink anyway due to having very little chai added and tasting watery. Unfortunate that it was a waste even after opting for an option that didn’t need the espresso machine.

Came here off a recommendation of a friend. Won’t be returning. Coffee tasted fine but the cold welcoming wasn’t appreciated.I’d rather a smile with my business than a scowl.

The drip coffee here is as good as a pour-over. They also have great vegan/gf muffins and soaps too!

It’s not only about the coffee. This coffee shop is the only in Hoboken that sells good pastries, like ham and cheese croissant. Coffee is also excellent, it remembers me Seattle coffee shops, which aren’t super fancy with weird drinks, but are the best.
