Legendary Hoboken pizzeria with a quality giant slice. Don't sleep on the pasta and chicken dishes either. The pesto rigatoni with grilled chicken was amazing. Chicken Marsala decent. Server screwed up our order a few times but you're not there for the service.

Friends, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings- but it turns out Bennys doesn’t slap nearly as hard as I thought when you eat it sober. I recently made the pilgrimage from Manhattan and after a friend’s bday, I dragged my half in the bag husband to Benny T’s for a giant slice. Keep in mind, I was DD and was thus sober as an ox. I sold this place hard and got hopes way up. Place hasn’t changed a bit, slices are still enormous- but boy did they lack flavor. I think I dumped an entire bottle of garlic powder and hot pepper on there and was still dumping parm to get any semblance of joy in my mouth. A for nostalgia, D for the slice. I was not transported to flavor town, but I did enjoy the trip down memory lane!

We ordered take out for the first time. We ordered the house pizza for take out, half pepperoni and half green and red peppers (although we didn't get red peppers). The pizza is huge! It had to be cut up in two boxes. It was great. We split it among 3 people, we have 3 slices left over

They have the largest slice in NJ and the pizza is pretty good. Good value for money and they serve beer and wine. Nice place with red and white tablecloth in case you want to dine in. Try their regular cheese.

I have fond memories of this place from my college days at Stevens Tech. The pizza slices are huge and smothered in cheese. Alas on my most recent visit the slice had almost no cheese and sauce was dry. It was not their best. I know they can do better.

Two of the worst slices I’ve ever had-that slice on the bottom of the photo is their Buffalo chicken slice which was a normal slice with chicken on it that had a little bit of Buffalo sauce. There aren’t any slices on display otherwise I would have never have ordered it. They also charged me $1 for a pre packaged cup of Kens ranch. Also way too expensive
Honestly I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza in all of jersey but it’s not the worst for the price. Regardless of that the service is so bad? Like the staff isn’t welcoming or friendly at all. The server gave herself a 13 dollar tip on a 36 dollar tab as well, when half of our food was to go, so she didn’t even serve it to us. She also never came to check up and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything else, therefore I wouldn’t have tipped 13?!?!? My boyfriend and I didn’t see anywhere that tipping was mandatory, and even then I wouldn’t have gave her that much and if I could go back and complain about that I would.
Pizza is alright, take it to go to avoid the rude people that work there.
