Went here pre-COVID19 for a friends birthday. The bartenders upstairs were charging us more $ than the bartenders downstairs! How does that make any sense? I was charged differently for vodka + club soda by 3 different bartenders! The music was trash. & A fight broke out cause some white guys were picking on a brown dude! Horrible experience

Bouncers were very rude!!! I had a pass (which said Birch and other details on it to waive the fee) from a promoter to get into this bar and the bouncers mumbled something and said I couldnt use it to enter the bar and had to pay the $10 cover fee. I was so SHOCKED. The promoter that referred me (literally from 1 block away) was definitely associated with the bar so why did the bouncers act so confused?? Why promote a place you won’t even let people into? When we went in the summer, they literally had trash drinks and the place was filled with old creepy men. I would stay away from this place. If you guys are looking for a fun time to dance and get decent priced drinks, go to Mills, Tally Ho, Green Rock, literally ANYWHERE in Hoboken instead of this trashy place.

Worst service I have ever had! It was my birthday and our waitress brought our food out after we waited a Long time for it, and then the next time she came back was to drop the check. Never offered dessert and I asked for a shake with the sparkler and she said the kitchen closed and wouldn't make it. She was very rude and a horrible waitress. Never going back here again and wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

EEhhh... Came here for drinks and dancing ended up getting frys and an over the top milk shake....had a decent time hanging out downstairs, plenty of places to take pics and worth the visit. Bathrooms were accessible and easy to get to. The party area upstairs was cool and set up nicely with a few areas to sit even if you didn't get VIP. Will return if I'm in the area as a stop

I called and asked if they would be available to host an event I'm planning and the person I spoke to just hung up on me. I asked if the date was open, heard barely anything from them, and then they hung up. If they didn't hear me I would not have taken offense and just spoken up and asked again, but they literally hung up. Or if they weren't available I would've been fine with that but don't just HANG UP ON SOMEONE! It was so disrespectful and rude and unprofessional.

Absolute trash, this place has so much potential but it is just simply put trash. I am so disappointed that i even came here for brunch. Do yourself a favor and not go here, goto the city or goto Ainsworth. Birch is an absolute disappointment.

Bartenders charge double the actual drink price and stash the extra money into tips. Bartenders tip themselves changing amounts on credit card receipts. Go here if you enjoy being ripped off and paying double then anticipated.. Its unreal how unprofessional this place is.

Always steals your money. Check ur bank statement after a night at Birch. Got charged double from my total....nearly came down to $300. Definitely filed for fraud though

Went to this place with friends last night. I was charged $215.51 for a couple of drinks/shots of low end alcohol. After questioning the charge with the bartender, she refused to make it right and called over the bouncers so that we would get kicked out of the establishment. All my friends and I were shamefully and without reason kicked out of Birch so that we would not dispute the unapproved charge. Don’t believe it’s right that a bouncer can kick someone out without reason but at the ask of a bartender who was too busy to charge people correctly instead of just making the situation right. Scammers!

It was a pleasure experience. The music was great, the bartender was great, and the magician that was there was on point. The individual that closed out the bill took advantage of me being intoxicated and ran with my money and never returned with my change and grab the money from my hand. I believe they waitied for the opportunity to prey on individuals that are there to let loose and have a good time. I know how much i brought with me inside and i did not leave back out with it. Its a lesson learned not to be extremely intoxicated. I cant pinpoint the closer because they also ran with the receipt, but that one person destroyed the whole night. Greedy but its okay my crew had a great time. I hope you did something with the little change. Birch ill be back but i will calm down on the unlimited mimosas. Chow
