Perhaps the coffee is fine when adding the accompanying CBD, but without it it’s mediocre at best. Service is fine, but it’s not comfortable and the core product is not good. Not recommended.

Coffee choices are good. Sandwiches are very good. Small comfortable spot. On the weekends they have a pancake breakfast sandwich that's amazing.

Whenever I have a big day ahead of me and need a pick me up that will last, I go to Black Rail. They have the strongest iced coffee I've ever had. It's quite expensive, but worth it.

The food is fresh and delicious! The tumeric latte is absolutely heavenly!? my favourite item on the menu is the avocado toast!

Tried for the first time. Sorry to say, I was less than impressed. The Biggie Wrap was good, the chocolate croissant I ordered wasn’t even chocolate. It was a plain croissant which wasn’t the best either. And I also had the matcha latte… I’ve had way better at other places.

With so many choices of coffee shops in Hoboken, Black Rail is the best. Sandwiches are great as well.

This is the second review I’ve giving this place and that’s because that much praise and more. Not only is Jin one of the nicest owners ever, the shop itself is so cool and well designed, not to mention the food is to die for! As someone born and a raised in Hoboken glad to have such a good spot as part of the community! This place never disappoints
Slow service. Don't stop here if you've got a train arriving in 20 minutes. Orders can take that long even if the place is not busy - they work on their delivery orders first.

$20 for a small coffee which I couldn't drink without spilling all over myself because the lid would let coffee through the sides, and a sandwhich with soggy bread and barely any Turkey. Not impressed and pretty disappointed. Hoboken has so many wonderful cafes, spend your money elsewhere

I was sorta impressed with their breakfast sandwiches. I didn't expect much when ordering but it turned out really good. Coffee is ok. But the vibe is pretty chill and quiet. I went there in the morning after working out and spent a couple hours reading books.

I usually come here for the Biggie or the Rosie Wrap. These are best for when you have no time to sit down and eat but still want to feel like you had a great meal at an on-the-go pace. I’ve recently started to explore their other sandwiches (wassabeef sando) and to no one’s surprise, it’s amazing! One tip: order online (or call) before showing up. It’s a popular spot which means there’s usually a line.

Fine coffee, outrageously overpriced. Just paid $10 for an iced coffee (cup size about the size of a Dunkin medium). $10! Who makes enough money to afford that. Sandwiches looked good though but not sure I’d return because of the prices.
