So glad Elysian used this platform or we would not have eaten there. Such a great value! My wife and I each had the half and half lunch special and we each had the French onion soup which was delicious! So much onion, bread, and cheese filled to the very top! My Reuben sandwich was the perfect size. Thank you for providing this amazing meal at an affordable price. If you are not familiar with Hoboken, parking is difficult and you need to back into spaces on the main road unless you are lucky to find side street parking which was impossible. We drove around for 20 minutes until we found a spot.

I don't leave review very often. But wow this place is amazing, amazing food, great service. 10/10 would recommend.

Our food was cold and over cooked when we finally received it. Personally wouldn't be going back.

I was underwhelmed by both the food and service. The first seat by the entrance is not only loud but disruptive. We moved to the back but were then in the first table where the food was coming in/out. The drinks and food were just ok. I informed the waitress that the broccoli rabe was too bitter to eat. She barely acknowledged and I am sure she did not report it to ensure another guest would not have the same experience. While I was full and did not need another side dish, they could have at least followed or show they cared about it.

Terrible experience with the staff. The food is great but the service was awful. We had just ordered another bottle of wine and they took a table away from us without even explaining anything and then asked us to pay and leave when we just had ordered a new bottle. We can definitely see the gratuity is included because no effort was made to make our experience better which is a shame when you spend $600.

First time eating here and we were very happy with our fish and chips...was really tasty and perfectly cooked. Service was good and even tho it was a busy Memorial Day. One for our list we will be back.

Good food my served by helpful knowledgeable wait staff. We had fish and chips—great fries—and a delicate squash soup, both delicious.

Walked in without a reservation but was able to sit at the bar. Service was prompt and the food was delicious and good value for money.

Great customer service inside & outside, pleasant host. My son & I had reservations on Mother’s Day at 3 pm not realizing dinner menu was normally served after 5 pm; had my heart set on the introducing my son to my favorite dinner here at Elysian; Chilean Sea-bass & Risotto-dinner along with the infamous Arugula salad and the amazing chef honored my desire. We enjoyed the beautiful environment, interacting with the guests, let’s not forget my Irish cream coffee (very hot & not watered down top of the line whiskey) our meals absolutely superb. Compliments to the Chef, Bartender & Staff . 💐💐💐💐👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Ty Cheryl Hemingway

Food was good. Unfortunately, the staff was rather inattentive (had to ask for refills, forgot spoons for our soup, tried to flag down the waitress for the check for a while). We made a reservation so assumed we would be in the dining room but were sat in the bar, so it was understandably a bit noisy. The children at the table sat behind us were pushing on our chairs and being incredibly disruptive but staff (and their parents) said nothing. Food unfortunately was not good enough to warrant coming back.

Very cool place to have a meal. Had the BLT and the French onion soup. It was the best BLT I've ever had outside of a homemade one.

Elysian is a few blocks away. Eugene, the original owner, spent an enormous amount of $ on restoring the old shipyard blue collar bar into the most beautiful dining space in Hoboken. If you go, look at the ceiling and walls, especially in the back room. The food was the usual high quality as was the service. The noise level was less than usual because it was a slow night between 6 and 730. But as we left, tables were filling up.

Great location a super staff. Food quality was good but the Croque Madame was lacking. Only toast, not baguette and little béchamel and gruyere.
