From the moment we walked in to Elysian, we were hooked. The historic decor/architecture inside really set a fun atmosphere. As we were admiring the walls and ceilings the manager approached us and started telling us some of the history. He was as nice and as friendly as could be. He highly recommended the poutine and it did not disappoint. All of the other food we ordered was delicious and the other wait staff was nice and friendly as well.If you want delicious food for a good price in a old style restaurant with an authentic atmosphere and friendly people, then this is the place you're looking for.

French onion soup, chicken sandwich and the impossible burger were tasty. Fries were the standout. Unfortunately the service was really disappointing. The waitress never came by to check on us after the food arrived. We had to go up to order more fries and also to get the check.

Went here for dinner a couple nights ago and it was the best food I’ve had in a while. We got the mussels and poutine as appetizers, the mussels are a must get, very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The skirt steak was my favorite, the chicken and gnocchi were also good. All of the food tasted fresh and well made, the staff were friendly and the overall interior was cozy and inviting.

Elysian is always solid. Good food, great atmosphere/history, actually works well for little ones (early dinner). Reserve an early time slot for dinner, sit in the back away from the bar, get a high chair, beer, and you're good to go. Great burgers, sandwiches, entrees.

Beautiful restaurant with very Parisian feel in the decor. The food has some French touches but is really very good American fare. Loved that they kept the water filled and made a beautiful dessert presentation for my husband's birthday! Would definitely recommend!

This is one of my favorite go to places. I absolutely love this place. I have been many times over the years and every dish I have tried is fantastic.Many times for brunch, it can be difficult to get in without a reservation, so plan ahead.The only thing I would change is the water served - there are always a lot of particles in it... better filtered water would be nice.

We mostly ordered from the bar menu, since the dinner menu did not appeal. The food was tasty, especially the octopus appetizer. I had a Reuben sandwich, which was a very good sandwich. However, the food didn't seem very French. Also the service was a little rushed. The place was packed, so it felt a little claustrophobic.
