What is with the employees here? I walked in and the three girls standing behind the counter just looked at me in disgust. Then they went back to their conversation. I go up to order and they all just talked amongst each other and ignored me. The coffee is not worth being treated like a burden!

The tea selection is wonderful. They’re stocked with all the equipment you could need to make everything from ChemEx to espresso, Primula (the cast iron tea pot) and stove top!
We enjoyed our health nut lattes by adding our favorite oat milk and sugar free syrups! Always a plus for those is us out there.

I work near that cafe and I can confirm that they have the best coffee in the area, the girls and boys are super friendly, good energy for the morning!! They deserve 6 stars
The BEST coffee shop in Hoboken!! The staff is more than happy to have a conversation with their customers which is so refreshing and I love the stickers they have on their pastry case. They always have the best music, vibes, and coffee. I can always count on empire to put a smile on my face (both the coffee and the staff).
