The outside was very cute! Inside was not very clean.waited 30 minutes and got a matcha that tasted awful and asked for eggnog cold foam but didn’t get any! I also got a coffee that they burnt and wasn’t very good at all. I would not recommend this place.

Nice but pricey! Makes me questions how coffee beans on the ground is sanitary. Not much seating and very pricey. There’s always a wait. Update/response: I brought a small pocky and it was $4 when those are $2.50 at Walmart. So no, the prices are not the best.

Sacks of roasted coffee beans lined in rows like a market in Marrakech, the smell makes my mornings. You need to ask them to scoop them for you. Really great drip coffee - I usually get a decaf with cream. The lattes are good as well, though I avoid the flavoured coffee as they contain way too much sweetener for my taste. If you are in the neighbourhood ask for a punchcard towards a free coffee... they won't necessarily ask if you want one.

Favorite coffee shop! They always are hiring young, nice kids from the area which is great to see. And the selection of coffee beans is the best. It’s rare to still find places where you can be a regular and have them know you by name, face, or know your order and this place is one of them. A gem!

Unfortunately the person who scoops the coffee is very unhygienic. Scooping coffee, no gloves, wiping sweat off head and the hand right back in the bags of beans.
Walked right out and won’t be back.

First time trying Empire Coffee. Disappointed to see the espresso was not freshly ground. No sort of actually measuring the shot or pull. I had the crème brûlée latte and just can get past the bitter shot.
