Very tasty food and excellent service. BYOB place for awareness. Limited menu but all of the choices we had were great : Caesar, Steak Tartare, Branzino, and short rib. Dessert was also very good.

Cute concept felt very intimate, servers were very apathetic however I didn’t feel rushed. Spicy ish Caesar salad, mushroom tagliatelle, olive cake was bomb! Parking situation sucks.

A repeat favorite restaurant of ours - consistently great service, the staff are lovely and attentive, and the best pasta in Hoboken (fighting words but stand by them!) BYOB is a nice perk as well. We love Flour and hope to be regulars here for many many years!

Delicious meal at Flour. The corn pasta was really good. Pretty restaurant and nice staff. I read reviews in advance mentioning they don't serve tap water, but was still surprised. Being forced to purchase a $6 bottle of Saratoga water to have water with dinner is not something I've encountered before (even at BYOs) and it was off-putting.

The food was amazing. Everything was super tasty. We had the Cesar salad, tuna tartar and the whipped ricotta toasts, all of them amazing. For main, we had the gnocchis, spicy rigatoni and the lamb pasta (forgot the name), also they were great. Would come again definitely

Loud, service was rude. I’m 9 months pregnant and wasn’t offered anything to drink when I sat. I had to ask for it myself- mind you only bottle water is sold- no tap. The person I was meeting was late and I was told I’d need to vacate the table due to another back to back reservation. Places like this are why people don’t like to go out to eat. If it was extremely good, i could maybe justify the service but it isn’t.

Really tasty food and fair prices if you’re brining your own bottle. The Mexican corn pasta surprised us. Would come back again.

The service was horrible. The hostess was incredibly rude, and seemed that she completely hated the job and everyone around her. The steak tartare was very good and the pasta was alright. Just like the other reviews mentioned it’s INCREDIBLY loud in there. And I don’t think it’s because of the amount of people, I’ve been to much tighter more packed restaurants where I was able to talk and enjoy my evening. But at this restaurant everyone was genuinely yelling at each other to talk like it was a college bar.

This place was honestly terrible. The customer service was rude and unhelpful the whole time. The menu had barely any good options, and the food was way overpriced for what you get. On top of that, the workers acted like they didn’t even want to be there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or go back.I won’t be coming back.

Food was decent, but portion size is very small for the price. Disappointed the server taking care of us. Didn’t really check in on how the food was during our meal. Favorite was the corn pasta dish

I wish I read the reviews before we went there.

Way too crowded and unbearably loud — you literally have to scream to talk. Tables are practically touching—literally shoulder to shoulder with zero space between table. Food is just okay, and they force you to buy bottled water (no tap water). Never again.

We came here for a bachelorette dinner with a group of 10, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired.

From the moment we sat down, the tone was off. The chef immediately approached our table and said, “You can’t vape in here,” simply because a vape was resting on the table with our sunglasses and purses. No one had any intention of vaping indoors, yet the comment made us feel as though we were already doing something wrong.

Throughout the evening, the chef never once checked in to see how our meal was or if we were enjoying ourselves. It felt as though his only priority was controlling appearances rather than creating a welcoming environment. The music was also uncomfortably loud — to the point where it was hard to hear the people sitting directly next to us.

When it came time to settle the bill (around $1,100), we left roughly $1,400 in cash — nearly a 27% tip. Yet, as we stood outside, the server came out and loudly accused us of leaving only a 5% tip. This was humiliating, especially since many of us have worked in the service industry and would never shortchange staff. One of our guests went back in to recount, and the server returned saying they had miscounted. How someone could miscount nearly $300 remains questionable, and the situation was unnecessarily embarrassing.

Finally, one of our guests had too much to drink. She was standing quietly on the curb waiting for an Uber, but rather than showing any concern, the chef asked her to move away from the restaurant because “people are trying to enjoy their dinner.” The lack of empathy was striking and left a lasting negative impression.

Overall, it felt as though we were seen as an inconvenience from the start. The focus seemed to be on protecting an image rather than ensuring guests had a positive experience. Because of this, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for larger groups.

Food was okay, atmosphere was nice — but everything was not worth the price, imo. Was shocked to see our bill came out over $200 (for 2) for what we got + without any alcohol. We had dinner in Manhattan two weeks ago in an upscale Italian restaurant that was about the same price and had better food + we had cocktails.

Also, it’s been a long time since I’ve dined in a place that had no tap water options. You are forced to pay for water.
