In Hoboken & Hungry ! We decided to google food and found this place ! It was 3:00pm on a Sunday . Usually Chinese restaurants offer lunch special M-F but not here !! They offer lunch special everyday until 3:30!! My bf ordered the shrimp with broccoli & white rice with a Coke, it came with 4 shrimp but it was the lunch special so you can’t really complain . I had the sesame chicken with white rice & a sprite . It was easy to order online which I prefer now a days. We spent $20 and some change but we were full and happy ! We would def check them out when we are in Hoboken & Hungry !!!

Green Garden's lunch specials are the best cheap eat in Hoboken! Absolutely love this place. Their store and website are no frills and it's clear they put all of their effort into their food. I especially love their chicken and broccoli, lol mein, and egg drop soup.
It's delicious, cheap and quick. Hey, I guess you can have all 3!

1. Food
Recommended if you want to try Chinese food in the US. There is a little less meat, but the sauce is delicious, so it's good overall. Do you like beef and meatballs? I ate what was included, but the meat and meatballs were at least somewhat edible.
2. Service
It specializes in delivery, but there are two tables? There is enough food that you can eat inside. The people who take orders and the people working are all nice. They smile and seem to be working hahaha.
3. Atmosphere
You can feel China in the US. It may be noisier than New York, but it's still a comfortable atmosphere so it's worth a meal.

Disappointing Experience at Green Garden Chinese Restaurant.
I recently dined at Green Garden, enticed by the promise of a hearty meal of Curry Chicken. To my dismay, the dish was a letdown. Priced at $8.75, it fell short of expectations, not because of the flavor, but due to the meager portion of chicken served. With only 4-5 small pieces hidden among an overwhelming heap of vegetables, it felt like a search mission rather than a dining experience.
The Wonton Soup was the only saving grace of the meal, offering a taste of what could have been if the main course had lived up to the standard. In hindsight, I wish I had stopped at the soup, which was the highlight of the meal.
In all, the experience left me feeling shortchanged. The imbalance between the cost and the quantity of chicken was stark, and I can’t shake off the feeling of being ripped off. It’s a cautionary tale for fellow diners – if you’re here for the chicken, you might want to reconsider your order or perhaps choose a different restaurant altogether.

Best Chinese in all of hoboken. Their only rival in my eyes is South Lions (even though South Lions does Cantonese there’s still some overlap in their menus) but Green Garden is much less expensive. Even at a reduced cost there is no decrease in quality. The staff is also always super nice and extremely quick and efficient.
