It’s very weird that they hurry you up to leave the place and don’t let you to eat in peace. Also pizza it’s not amazing or anything…

My new review:
I returned here for a second time. I didn't like the pizza this time. Service was slow and they didn't pay too much attention either.
My original review:
We’ve got margarita pizza and it was as it should be, nothing more and nothing less. Good oven pizza with just about right sauce and toppings.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Hoboken is a must-visit for pizza lovers. I tried their Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly crisp crust, fresh mozzarella, and flavorful sauce. The salad was fresh and well-prepared, making it a great starter. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The coal-fired oven gives the pizza a unique, smoky flavor that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality and taste are consistently amazing. It’s the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. Highly recommend stopping by!

Great pizza and a lovely atmosphere for a quiet dinner with friends
Delicious pizza. And they had a beer made for them by Hoboken Brewery. Split a personal size pizza with my father-in-law.

Beware of specialty pizzas!! We were up-charged like crazy for a specialty pie and our server didn’t say a word… $3 extra charge because we ordered half a white pie?? In fact, his shift must have ended while we were dining because after we got our $37 pizza he was nowhere to be found. I had to seek out the hostess for our check/ boxes so we could leave. The pizza tasted fine but nowhere near worth the price. Disappointed and won’t be returning any time soon as there are many other more reliable places in town for a good pizza.

We stopped by Grimaldi’s in Hoboken on our way from Boston to Manassas, Virginia. While it turns out they aren’t connected to the one in Brooklyn, we were still thoroughly impressed with the pizza!
The crust was crisp and thin, with that perfect char you look for in a great pie, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The sauce had a great balance—sweet and tangy without overpowering it.
This spot is worth the visit.
