Ok, so a sausage roll and a 16oz bottle of Poland spring. A sausage roll, not a sausage Parmesan hero. $14 dollars if you pay cash. I asked how much the roll was, he said $10.95. Which is outrageous, but even more outrageous is the fact that if the roll was $10.95 that means the guy wanted to charge me $3.05 for a small bottle of Poland spring. It's comical!!!! Sergio, a roll should be $7.95 maximum. Check your competitors prices. Mario's, pizza republic, they aren't anywhere near your $10.95. You have to know that's ripping people off. Plus $2.50 for a bottle of Poland spring that can't cost you more than .25cents. I understand the high rents in hoboken, but that shouldn't give you the ok to hammer someone $14 bucks for a roll and a water. It happens all too often in this town. It's just not right to be honest.

Lived in Jersey my whole life and I’ve always passed this place just never went in. Me and boyfriend had to pee and were looking for a bathroom and a place to eat. Great space with booths, and fountain soda (the best soda to have if eating a slice obv) Anyways… being pizza connoisseurs we know what we are talking about. Very Solid slice. I haven’t had a slice like this since I was a kid. She was beautiful. I give it a solid 9. PLUS they have bendy straws. Will be coming back. BOYFRIEND rating - 8.5 also guy at the front desk is cool ?The Sauce was Saucing #greatsauce #goodeats

All I can say is WOW! Have been next to this place at the gym and even worked years and Hoboken and never stopped in until today for lunch. This place is a gem! The food and flavors were outstanding. I had baked ziti and meatballs the baked mozzarella was excellent and sauce was great. My buddy had penne vodka and breaded chicken. 10 stars for these guys!

They claim the calamari is fresh which it is not, it was very rubbery. The cheesesteak had barely any meat on it & nothing else. It was fake steak, all bread w& they forgot the cheese, peppers, mushrooms & onions. They should be embarrassed for what they sent. Never again will I order from here.

Gio's used to be one of my fave slices in Hobs. Absolutely loved it. However, on my latest venture back it was kinda rubbish. When I return to jersey I'm usually so excited for good pizza and this slice did not do it. I contemplated just throwing half to the garbage. $4.50 for a large slice is ehhh, but really wasn't happy to pay 3.50 for a bottle of dr pepper. I think I will cross them off my list of must-visit places on my next trip back to 07030.

Would highly recommend. My family had the pepperoni pizza, Eggplant parmesan over ziti, cheesy garlic bread, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Everything came out wonderful. There is a bit of a wait but no different than other restaurants I've been to. Wait was about 15 min.
