Points for a catchy name and everything but their coffee wasn't really good and neither was their almond croissant. Coffee was flat, didn't have the appropriate foamy texture for a cappuccino and almond croissant was like this dense sugary bread. A no-go in the pastry world.
Stumbled upon this coffee shop last year when they just opened and a year later, we're still going. Hoboken has so many coffee shops but this has to be my favorite one. The drinks are always on point, the baked goods are just so delicious and tastes so fresh! Finding Filipino snacks in Hoboken is a gem. Best part about Hey Coffee People is how friendly the staff is, so nice and always so cheerful. I wish I lived in Hoboken, I would come here everyday and get my favorite cinnamon...
The best coffee shop in Hoboken. Finally someone doing real latte drinks, not the nitrogen $h*% and over roasted stuff.But it sadly depends on the barista at the store. Do not expect a perfect latte every time. Consistency is key, folks.
