Hidden Grounds Chai & Coffee House

A really nice café, with lots of options to choose from. I had my first bagel with cream cheese and salmon of this trip here, so maybe that’s why I remember it so fondly – but it really was very good. I also tried a pistachio and cardamom bun – also delicious. A small and cozy little spot. It was great!

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would! We have been coming here for years and have tried just about every sandwich on the menu. The coffee is perfection (iced latte is my go to)! My personal favorite sandwich is the Savory Bagel sandwich, which has the most perfect combination of textures and unique flavors. The vibe of the cafe is cool, the music is great and the staff is even cooler! Highly recommend, can’t say enough about this hidden gem in Hoboken.

I’ve been to a lot of different coffee shops in Hoboken now, and in my opinion Hidden Grounds has the best cappuccino around here. You can tell the baristas really put in effort into making every drink perfect. The croissants and the cardamom buns are really good, and the honey bee latte is my favorite drink on their menu!

They can’t handle more than 3 people in the coffee shop, we waited 20 minutes for the coffee this morning. The staff lazy, slow and lethargic. I’m never coming back again.

Fantastic, creative, delicious coffee. New Orleans brew is phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. They have oat/almond milk.

This shop is adorable. They have dog treats in a jar for their customers. There’s a little, miniature replica of the shop on the counter. The food and beverages are BEYOND. But the best asset to the company is Destiny. She is extremely professional, warm, and compassionate. She is a gem! Please keep this in mind when it’s time for bonuses! : )

Staff is rude. Coffee is mid. Go to Mojos across the street. Much better experience.

Greta cute coffee shop with solid cold brew. Not a lot of seating inside but cozy enough if it’s not crowded. Great service from the employees.

Was in a great mood this morning, until I decided to try Hidden Grounds in Hoboken. I ordered an iced latte and was very disappointed when I grabbed what I thought was my latte. The female barista with glasses very rudely told me the drink I grabbed was not mine. I apologized and put it back. I kept waiting for my latte as I saw the barista call out the orders for customers to pick up. As she was done with mine she just placed it on the counter and said nothing. I did not want to make the mistake again of grabbing an order that was not mine. But time passed and she did not seem to care to tell me it was my order until I got up and asked but she kept ignoring me. So I grabbed what I think was my drink and left with a really bad impression. Overpriced coffee ($7 for watered down coffee) and terrible customer service. Safe to say I’m not going back.
