Takeout order was pretty disappointing. Eel cucumber roll I thought I had ordered the wrong item because I didn't even see the eel at first, it was barely a bump on the seaweed wrapper and was just a mouthful of cucumber. The chicken hibachi drowned in celery for some reason. The salad dressing was offputting. All around a fair bit of money for things better elsewhere in town.

Chirashi lunch is the best- great fish quality, super delicious. And they serve green tea not just in a cup, but bring an authentic tea pot with it. My go-to place for sushi in Hoboken!

This is my fiancé and I’s favorite place to eat in Hoboken. I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years and these days we’ve been dining here at least monthly. The food is always delicious & quick and the staff is always friendly & attentive.
The whole menu is great but our favorite things to order are the alligator roll (which usually comes with eel that’s still warm 😋), the toro/scallion roll, the tempura appetizer, and the rock shrimp appetizer.

The ambience was peaceful and the staff were friendly. The sushi was good. I felt the stir fry noodles was bit oily but the taste was decent. Only complaint is that they got us a wrong sushi order but apart from that its a good place to visit if you are craving some sushi :)

Ordered delivery from Illuzion and was blown away by how fresh everything was! We got the sashimi chef’s special tasting platter, yellowtail jalapeño app, spicy bad girl maki, uni & botan ebi nigiri. I assumed the sushi a La carte came with two pieces, but was actually one per order. Everything was so tasty! Will definitely make a stop here next time we’re in the area.

The food is beyond delicious – every bite is a burst of flavor, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable, making it even more tempting to come back again and again. Honestly, 100/10 – I can't recommend this place enough!
This place should be so much busier. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and it only got better as the Mizo soup came. But the icing on top was the main course. We ordered several different dishes and they were all incredibly tender, flavorful and complex. Some sushi places have one or two good options. I have not found a less than 5 star option here. No matter what you pick it will be a home run! Do not sleep on Illuzion!
