Such a lovely experience overall! Came here to catch up with my cousin who lives in Hoboken and wanted to try somewhere neither of us have been before. It’s so quaint and beautiful inside loved all the decor. The staff is so friendly and a good balance of accommodating but letting you just enjoy being at dinner together without the feel of being rushed out. The cocktails were amazingggg, I found myself chugging without even realizing because I just enjoyed it so much. The food was amazing and filling as well. We got the steak and chicken for dinner and the tuna for appetizer. Would definitely come here again, such a vibe. A lot of the people around us were speaking other languages than English too which I loved, felt like a real melting pot! They also shut the lights off to sing happy birthday to another table which was really cute because it made us all get involved!

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with a warm energy that immediately sets the tone for an exceptional night. What truly makes La Bohème shine, however, is the team behind it. Nelson, the manager, deserves special recognition. He doesn’t just run the floor — he elevates the entire experience. His hospitality is genuine, his attention to detail is impeccable, and you can clearly see the pride he takes in ensuring every guest feels valued. It’s rare to find leadership that is both professional and personable, and Nelson sets the bar. The cocktails from the bar are simply outstanding — balanced, creative, and crafted with real skill. You can taste the difference between “a drink” and “a cocktail made with intention, that’s what I experienced with the special margarita they were offering. And just whether you’re in the mood for something refreshing, smoky, spirit-forward, or playful, the bartenders here know their craft. A big shout-out also goes to Omar, our busser, whose attention and timing were impeccable. He was consistently present without ever being intrusive — a true sign of polished service. And the food runners deserve their own applause as well; every dish was delivered with care, clear descriptions, and a “we want you to love this” attitude. Not a single detail was rushed or overlooked. The food itself? Excellent — beautifully plated, full of flavor, and served at the perfect temperature. Beef pepperoni (as they don’t serve pork) and Mediterranean pizza were outstanding. You can tell the kitchen has pride and discipline, and that front-of-house and back-of-house operate as one cohesive team. In a city full of dining options, La Bohème stands out — not just because of its menu, but because of its people. When service, cocktails, and cuisine come together at this level, it creates the kind of dining experience you remember and return to. Highly recommended. We will absolutely be back.
