Amazing and authentic Cuban food in a cozy setting. Recommend the beef sandwich, so, so good. Will be back!

I loved this restaurant, I went for breakfast and everything was delicious, the coffee is very good (so good that that same afternoon after having lunch at a nearby place I stopped by La Isla to have a Cortadito). I tried the Cuban empanada and it was very good and then some pancakes with strawberries and everything was delicious.
Furthermore, the attention of all the staff was incredible at all times.
A must visit place if you are in Hoboken. I will repeat!

Stopped by with a few people on a Friday. Staff was super nice and the vibe felt authentic. They had a great selection of Cuban foods and sodas. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and wonderfully pressed. Finished it off with a Cuban coffee. Prices were very reasonable.

Came in with my son and his sleeping baby for dinner on a Thursday evening. We got here early because he said the place is small and gets crowded. We got a table by the door and we had the chicken soup and a salad with avocado as appetizers. Both were delicious then he had the skirt steak and yucca and sweet plantains. I ordered the chicken in garlic sauce and plantain with a side order of broccoli. Ever was amazing! Service was wonderful too! Can’t wait to come back again!

The worst Cuban sandwich
Don’t buy this over priced not fresh and horrible
Try McDonalds at least you know what your getting
When you can’t accommodate not even when your place is empty??? Mind you I was conscious and left my special needs child stroller home. We would’ve never been allowed in then.
This place was recommended and the same way we walked in, we walked out.

The service here is trash. Server acted like I was bothering her by simply existing in the restaurant. She rudely screamed "LADY!" When the order was ready. Why are you hollering at me like I'm a dog? Who in their right mind addresses people that way?

I spent over 100 dollars and very upset how all the food tasted. This rice is was not Spanish rice it taste like Uncle Ben’s rice! Beans was hard! The steak is tough! The empanadas beef and chicken was so oily you can squeeze a once of oil out of them! The flan tastes as if it was made with only water. Pls save your money!!! Times are too hard to just waste your money!! We threw the food in the garage!!!

I ordered my food online from this restaurant for the first time and the food was ok. I was surprised on how dry the arroz morro tasted. The chicharones in the rice did not taste like anything. You guys also forgot to put the utensils and napkins. Honestly, I was disappointed after paying $100. I would rather go to John Fried Chicken in WNY for half the price.
