Food and service was passable. Definitely wasn't worth the stress of parking.
Parking: Pricey for quality and portion size, but I guess, it's the new Hoboken

Great Italian local place, a little bit packed with many tables, and a better distribution of the space could help.

Since my son got into the college in Hoboken we have been wanting to try different restaurants in the area. We come from Brooklyn and we are used to getting pretty good Italian food. We were so looking forward to eating at Leo’s because it was highly recommended. We started with the Wedding soup. It was delicious . The bread in the basket was warm and crispy. But here was the problem. I had asked the waitress if the Leo salad was enough for two. She said definitely. She obviously didn’t realize that I could have eaten it by myself. It was small. Not sure if it came in larger sizes. My husband had the veal cutlet parmigiana hero. The sauce was good he said but the veal was too thick and stringy. Mind you he loves veal. I had the chicken cutlet parmigiana hero as well but put with bread on the side. It looked amazing but it lacked taste . Not enough sauce and I felt the chicken cutlet wasn’t cooked enough. The bill came and it was very reasonable. We walked out and were felt it could have been better. We decided that we will probably try it again for dinner . I wanted it to be better. Hope to try a different dish.

Leo’s bar pies are the stuff of legends and their fried ravioli, along with everything else on the menu, makes it all right! Miss this spot…don’t forget cash only! ?

If you love great Italian food and Frank Sinatra, you will adore this amazing restaurant. Apart from the superb menu, there's masses of Sinatra memorabilia.

Great ambience. Lots of Sinatra memorabilia. Service was acceptable. Never again do I ask for recommendation. We had a veal dish, veal was dry and over cooked. The chicken dish was also dry. no taste. the waiter was young and badly trained. serving the shrimp dish I felt something wet and burning. he had it on an angle all over my leg the sauce. the meatball dish was good..

A Hoboken staple. Great bar, great staff, great food. Always leave full and very satisfied. The short rib special feels like I'm eating it for the first time every time I get it. The veal parm, francese, and saltimboca are perfect examples of each dish. The chicken marsala too!
Since I'm a huge Sinatra fan and have been wanting to try this place for over a year now when in town, I finally did.
When you walk in you're greeted with some great Sinatra memorabilia and the really cool interior that looks like it hasn't changed since the 50s-60s when Sinatra himself ruled the radio airwaves. We went for a super early dinner , the place had a few at the bar and dining. It's a small cozy place. I did wish i heard some music playing to muffle out people talking, maybe later they put some on when its busy.
On to the food!
As usual i ask the servers recommendations and he immediately said we're famous for our mussels . I opted for the mussel's with marinara. My family got Chicken Alfredo and a Chicken Caesar
First bread arrived to the table hot and fresh as it could be, it didn't disappoint.
The mussels and linguine were outstanding! Super fresh and hot and delicious! Some of the best I've tried!
Our server was training another server, they were extremely warm and knowledgeable about the food and some Sinatra stuff like the chair above the bar which was really cool.
I did have to flag the server down for the bill and my to go box but no biggie ! I'll be back when in town to try out some more tasty dishes, you can see why they have been around for 85 years! (Look at the dish i posted!)

Italian American food at this popular with the locals restaurant. There's a bar that seats maybe a dozen people and dining room for maybe 60.
Reasonable prices.
