was there w some friends last night and there was a big curly haired brunette bartender who was completely rude to me. i tried to pay with apple pay for 1 glass of wine and she told me I had to scan a QR code, it said confirmed on my end but she aggressively came up to me and grabbed me and said I didn’t pay for my $6 wine. ended up just adding it to my friends tab and sending the money to them but no tap to pay? and why so aggressive with me? she also “cut me off” after 2 glasses of wine accompanies by an unpleasant smile. kinda proving a power play? asked for water then and she said no. overall made my experience anxiety inducing and uncomfortable.

We were staying in Hoboken for a long football weekend and happened into this place during the day on Saturday. I had a broken foot and they let me use the employees restroom so I wouldn't have to hobble down the stairs. Daytime Saturday bartender liked to talk sports which was cool. Saturday night we made it back and wanted to watch a hockey game which wasn't on a local station and the bar staff worked hard to get the game on for us, which they ended up finding! That convinced us to come back after our football game on Sunday to watch the late games. Can't say enough good things about the wait staff at this fine establishment! Had a tasty chicken /avocado salad that night, also!

Everything you want from a local sports pub. They're not insanely crowded and provide a great jumpoff point for a large group.

Big shout out to Paul the owner who stopped and helped me out when I accidentally drove into the parking garage with my kayak racks attached to my SUV. He pulled over, and helped me remove them! Great guy!
This is my favorite local bar but I'm never going back. They let me down by not having a food menu for some unknown reason, which indirectly made my wife cry. Check before going if you want food.

Came here specifically for Guinness. One of the best pubs in Downtown Hoboken I could say. Never overly crowded. Good food. Good music. Good crowd. Loved the darts and pool. The best times to visit are weekday nights!

Tried the beer, pasta, jalepenos poppers, good host and ordered on the app but the host is attentive. The host was kind enough to help to with the darts, Not so expensive for downtown, would want to go back again.
