Had high hopes after reading the reviews, but was sorely disappointed. The service is rude and unhelpful. Both in store and delivery. For delivery, they don’t even bother trying to find your correct location. Once I did receive the food, it was just a big grease pit. The bread was so soggy because the food was so greasy. The bag with the fries had a puddle of oil at the bottom so the fries weren’t even crunchy anymore. I get cheesesteak and fries are oily, but this stuff was borderline inedible. The service is so bad, it’s not even worth trying to get a replacement or a refund if the food sucks. So I just ended up throwing away most of it. Biggest waste of $25. Go to Luca Brasi or Toni baloney’s instead if you want a good sandwich that’s worth the money

Amazing experience from the moment we walked in. The pricing was beyond fair. Everything was fresh and tasted like quality. We are from California and we will be back. The bread was so soft and everything was seasoned perfectly.

The food was so good! The service was friendly. We are not from the area but we're in town on a rod trip and the philly cheese steak and so straight hogie did not disappoint. I recommend the cajun fries too.

I recently ordered a cheesesteak from Midtown Cheesesteaks, and I have to say, the flavors were absolutely incredible! The combination of the cheese whiz, provolone, onions, and peppers hit all the right marks—perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. Every bite was a testament to how well they’ve mastered their craft.
That said, I did get it delivered, and unfortunately, the bread was so soggy it was almost unappetizing. Thankfully, the deliciousness of the filling helped me push through. If they could find a way to better preserve the integrity of the bread during delivery, it would be a 10/10 experience.
Flavor-wise, you’ve got it down to a science, but I’d love to see a little more attention to the delivery process. I’ll definitely be ordering again because the taste is worth it!

As a Philadelphian myself, this place really knows how to put the “mid” in “midtown”. It’s not bad, but comparing it to actual Philly cheesesteaks is a huge disservice. It’s more like food that your dad, who’s a decent cook, made for a barbecue because he didn’t want to make the same sloppy joes that everyone else does, but he forgot that this kind of sandwich has more thought put into it than slapping cheese on beef and calling it a day.
Food did come out quickly, though. Brownie points for that.
