As someone who’s been to Philadelphia on numerous occasions and experienced Philly cheesesteaks, I have to say Midtown steaks are absolutely amazing. The first time I tried it I knew they were on to something, steak is always cooked fresh, well tender. I honestly ate here everyday for about 2-3 weeks. I love their cheese fries as well! One thing I really like is they offer a cheesesteak special that comes with a drink, fries and a tasty cake for around $15 that’s not bad at all! The sandwich is a great size gives you just enough meat as well.
I would HIGHLY recommend eating here. The staff is cool as well, met the owner really genuine guy.

went to midtown philly steaks in hoboken the other night — got a cheesesteak with provolone, no onions..... mmmm yummyyyy ooo it hit the spot the roll was soft, meat was juicy and cooked just right, cheese all melted in perfect. kinda messy but in the best way. place is small, feels more like a grab-and-go vibe, but that’s fine. ordered bon doordash not beating a philly local cheesesteak but still one of the best i’ve had in jersey. i’d go back 8/10 beans

Edit (after restaurant reply) - I assure you not a bot. Haven’t reviewed any other restaurants in Hoboken. My sandwich was almost an hour late on Saturday, and when I called to ask where it was (already past the delivery window) you said ‘it had just been made’, when I pointed out then that you were already late and still had ‘at least’ 20 minutes to Jersey city, you shifted your blame onto the delivery guy being late. No ownership. I got a cold sandwich. And Grubhub refunded my entire order…

Had high hopes after reading the reviews, but was sorely disappointed. The service is rude and unhelpful. Both in store and delivery. For delivery, they don’t even bother trying to find your correct location. Once I did receive the food, it was just a big grease pit. The bread was so soggy because the food was so greasy. The bag with the fries had a puddle of oil at the bottom so the fries weren’t even crunchy anymore. I get cheesesteak and fries are oily, but this stuff was borderline inedible. The service is so bad, it’s not even worth trying to get a replacement or a refund if the food sucks. So I just ended up throwing away most of it. Biggest waste of $25. Go to Luca Brasi or Toni baloney’s instead if you want a good sandwich that’s worth the money
I rate the cheese steak hero a 5.9 not much beef and bread could be better with lettuce tomato onions and peppers

The food was so good! The service was friendly. We are not from the area but we're in town on a rod trip and the philly cheese steak and so straight hogie did not disappoint. I recommend the cajun fries too.
