I’m not sure why this place is having 4.1 rating. The food is excellent. And the prices are reasonable. I order takeouts here and Okinawa is always prepping the food fast. The portions are big and very tasty. I’ve been to Japan and tried a lot of sushi around the world. This isn’t a hi-end sushi place, of course, but it’s great. With my wife, we always enjoy Okinawa’s sushi. It’s one of our beloved places. And for the price, one can hardly beat it. As a nice bonus, they put very little rice over their rolls. With my wife, we enjoy it. Some people may be used to having more rice. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Very quiet space. Not a lot of space to eat compared to other restaurants but the food is superb. No bar so it is byob and there is a liquor store in the plaza. Sushi was very good and extremely fresh.

My go to sushi spot in Hoboken! Love this place! The food is amazing, especially the Tuna Pizza! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The prices are pretty good, considering the area. There’s always seating available, which is much appreciated. Also, they have open cork, which is great!

I'm so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. I ordered the SASHIMI DELUXE & CHIRASHI BOWL. First & foremost, I love the fact that they do their own delivery (a lot of delivery drivers on 3rd party platforms are either: 1) disgusting... because they ate my food in my previous orders from other establishments, 2) are not allowed to work LEGALLY IN AMERICA. Moving on to the sashimi orders, both are worth every penny! I love the fact that they used fresh Shiso because I'm not a big fan of fake leaves...give me the real one & I'll eat them all :). Lastly, this review is coming from someone who has been to Japan multiple times as a kid & travelled the world as an adult, therefore when it comes to food I really have high standards & thus, I don't give 5-star-reviews easily.
