I randomly stumbled on this location after a quick Google search of "best cocktail bars/lounges in Hoboken." I was not disappointed, the location it self is right at a corner and cannot be missed. Parking is tricky as it is fairly residential but there is a nearby parking garage. Upon arrival I was greeted by the most sweet, attentive, and professional hostess that guided me to my seat and made conversation. In the background there was live music. A guitarist was serenading the atmosphere with his lovely voice and music selection. I sat at the bar and was immediately checked on by the bartender who went down the line of what my taste profile was, favorite type of spirit, and made a recommendation based on Gin and it was delicious. Ended up ordering two. Then she made further recommendations which all hit the mark. Although I did not eat, the people next to me ordered food that looked quite appetizing. Being in NY and commuting to NJ for this bar was the best decision I made that night and I will be back. This place is great for vibes, date night, dinner, or a quick pre-game. Pro Tip: ask them why the bar is called Olivia's. #illbeback

As a native New Yorker who begrudgingly left manhattan, this is by far the best meal and the only meal that not only compares to but competes with manhattan cuisine in Hoboken. Great food, great ambiance, great service. As a food snob, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Lea our waitress was outstanding. We had the oysters, mussels, whipped ricotta, steak and scallops.

Hosted an intimate cocktail party here in February and still can’t get over it! ?The main bar is beautiful but, we got a private room in the back for our party which was even better Olivia’s had a great selection of food to offer and cocktails as well as service were outstanding.Joel and Ricardo (I hope I got the names right) were helping us and did a great job. Ilysia was very helpful and detail oriented since the first time we spoke until the end of the party.Just wanted to say huge thanks to this place and everyone who helped, because you made our night so special and memorable ♥️✨

My favorite restaurant in Hoboken! The food is amazing, the decor is gorgeous and the staff is always friendly and on point. We went to a private event in the Luna room and it was so well done. Great food, cocktails and ambiance and very private space with its own bathroom and separate bar. Highly recommend!
Not such a good experience. We are vegetarian and we ordered cheese board and Mediterranean spread.We felt the cheese board wasn't special - it had only normal cheeses that we found in a grocery store. The combination lacked sour - it came with Honey and fig streak, toasts and three cheeses.The Mediterranean spread wasn't authentic, portions were small and tasted contemporary.Service was also very slow. It took a white to get food and check. The water refill was done only once during our stay.The ambience was great with candles and a light feeling. Overall it was ok compared to their price.

Our experience with Olivia's was perfect! We hosted my girlfriend's birthday dinner here and it couldn't have gone better. The coordinator I worked with to set up the event was clear and always quick to respond. They accommodated every request I had (included live music coming in early and special menu designs) and did so very easily. The event itself was wonderful. The food was delicious as always and the service could not have been any better. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I never once had to wait for a refill :)Olivia's helped make the night a tremendous success and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
There are so many good restaurants in Hoboken and this is not one that I would recommend. We have eaten dinner twice and had brunch once. We went to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year during the week, not on 2/14, and were disappointed. For appetizers we had the calamari which was such a small portion and not very good quality plus the whipped ricotta which came with so much berry compote and not enough ricotta ratio. For our mains we had the lobster bucanti which came with a good amount of lobster but was way too salty plus the the steak medium rare which was good but it was over risotto which was too al dente and bland tasting for our liking. Overall it was overpriced for the quality. From a service perspective the waitress was super nice but the table next to us arrived and ordered after us and got their food before us.

Went for brunch for the first time, and thought everything was great. The brunch menu has a lot of interesting and tasty options, not just your standard brunch fair. We ordered the burger, chicken biscuits, and short rib arepa, which were all great. Especially the burger. We had my 2 year old daughter there too who loved the French toast. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Definitely planning to go back for brunch again.

Olivia’s is the perfect spot to bring out of townies. I had a group of girlfriends coming in and I always thought it looked so cute from the outside so I decided to call and try to get one of the window seat tables. The hostess who took my reservation was very clear that they couldn’t promise that table but would try their best and she was so sweet and they were able to make it work when we got there. The waitress was kind, timely and had everything come out smoothly. The food/drinks were amazing and all of my friends were so eager to make each other taste how good their own plate/drink was. The atmosphere was perfect for my group and they had a great live band and I loved their playlist. Our only complaint was that music was way too loud and we were screaming to hear each other and our throats were sore when we walked out lol. I rarely ever write reviews but I had to for how much my friends loved it!
