Panello is a top spot for Italian-style thin crust pizza lovers. Their pies can hold their own against many NYC spots, and their appetizers are also delicious, although a bit pricey. The restaurant offers a quiet and cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for celebrations and conversations. The service is exceptional, with a family-like feel, and the staff is very accommodating to families with young children. Standout dishes include the short ribs, spicy pizza, meatballs, and burrata pizza. The pastas are generally good and you can't really go wrong. The pizzas on the other hand are 50/50. The price is very high even for Hoboken standards. There is a big area outside the restaurant for kids to run around. Panello is a cute, boutique restaurant with great service that was attentive. They enjoyed Rigatoni Pasta in a tasty sauce and some of the freshest salad. They tried 2 of the Pizzas served at the correct temperature with a crisp crust. The bread is fantastic dipped in the homemade balsamic vinegar olive oil dressing.
