We ordered food delivery from this restaurant for the first time. There are both Malaysian and Chinese menus. Both are extensive. From the Chinese menu we had wanton soup (one of my “test dishes”) and curry with mixed vegetables soup. The wonton soup was good and the curry vegetable soup was really good– flavorful and with the vegetables cooked, but not overcooked. Although it was marked as “hot and spicy”, I found the heat level to be moderate, and I’m not a fan of mouth-blasting food. There is a good selection of Chinese appetizers – rolls, dumplings, sesame and peanut noodles, and pancakes, one intriguingly described as “Indian pancake”. Chinese-American classics are on the “Chef’s Specialties” list. There are also items I haven’t seen before: Trengganu chicken, a curry and Tofu Nyonya, for instance. We had the curry beef (is that Chinese?). It reminded me of a London or Glasgow curry house offering. There are lots of vegan choices, as well as noodles and noodle soups. You get the picture. The Malasian menu is intriguing. I had a seafood dish I would order again. To judge from the descriptions, there is an Indian influence here. I can’t comment on ambiance, decor, table service, or cleanliness because we had delivery. However, the food arrived hot and ten minutes earlier than promised.

Ive been going here for over 10 years. Their quality has slowly been going down for years now. Honestly I am so disappointed tonight. The rice that came with the meal, the container wasn't even full, and it was just rice. The rice in the other dish was mushy like it was old. And 20$ for a few pieces of chicken worth 7$. So sad. They haven't updated the place in a decade and have been slowly squeezing it for more profit until they eventually give up or whatever. Never ordering from here again, its time for them to retire. The quantities and quality have been going down for years, and now they don't even fill up the rice container anymore. I was SHOCKED. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other 1000 restaurants in Hoboken.

10/10/23 first time here.BYO & no cork fee.We were excited to try this place. Quaint and small tables. We had a Roti curry appetizer and chicken w/noodles dish, both really good.We had the seafood lovers special, which was perfectly lightly fried but lacked creativity, no sauce or anything to go on it. Although the lightly salted flavor was good. Only two scallops and 3 shrimp, the rest was squid. The rice was good.Friendly people working there, service was good.Next time: more noodles!

This place is adorable on the inside. I’ve walked past thousands of times - don’t be like me. Go in! Had the spring rolls, malaysian fried noodles, and sizzling tofu. All super delicious and satisfying. They were offering a 10% discount on cash transactions, fyi.

Literally the worst food I’ve had this year. Wish I could get my money back. I was hungry but couldn’t eat anything but the salad…which was just ok. I threw the rest of it in the trash. And for me..who was taught to never waste food…that was a big move. I don’t usually write reviews but this place was so so so so bad I wanted to warn anyone else. Don’t eat here. Horrible. Very bad.

Food was delicious but the service was very poor. Waitress was very rude. I'd only do take away from now on.

I heard a lot about this restaurant and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It’s a very good Malaysian restaurant with menu ranging from Curry, noodles and rice.I tried vegetable curry mee and pad thai; very flavorful and good portion of food enough to satiate two hungry souls.Surprisingly the food wasn’t as spicy and oily as other asian restaurants. And a lot of vegetarian options!!The staff was helpful and very quick in understanding your requests & serving the well decorated plate. There wasn’t a wait time when we went there on weekends. Unfortunately parking space isn’t provided.Overall a very good experience at this Malaysian place. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Malaysian food and great service. Came here with friends recently on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy a good lunch. I had the "Kari Sayur Campur", which is mixed vegetables with a spicy curry sauce. It came piping hot and had just the right amount of spice to it. It was large enough that I needed two bowls of rice to soak up all that delicious curry. Plenty of good vegetarian options here as well. Would definitely come back again.

Amazing place, plenty of options, good seating and quick service.Got the chicken satay, paratha and roti kanai for appetizers. Everything was tasty. The roti especially was light and nice and the chicken gravy was perfect. The rotis and paratha are filling. For mains got the pineapple fried rice (Nasi Nenas) which was great. Also got Ayam Rendang, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the gravy was thicker and tasted great.A great place overall. The place offers a 10% discount if you pay in cash.

If you want to know if the restaurant is true Malaysian restaurant, you can order Bak Kut Teh. This dish is the signature of the countryThe staff was very attentive and fast.
