🚨 EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
My entire smoothie contained large chunks of PLASTIC blended throughout. At first, I thought it was fruit seeds until it actually hurt when I swallowed. When I opened the cup, I found huge pieces of plastic mixed into the drink. This is completely unacceptable and a serious health hazard. HOW CAN THIS EVEN HAPPEN?

The staff doesn’t seem to care or have attention to deal. They added sweet n low when I asked for sugar.

It is such a pleasure to be eating food created by Food Network’s Chopped Champion Chef Kiersten! I would watch Food Network all the time when I was younger so it’s pretty cool to have a local healthy restaurant who’s Chef is a Chopped Champion! My favorite item is definitely the açaí and pitaya bowls. However, the chicken dumplings are just as good, my fav sauce to pair it with is lava rock sauce! The smoothies are refreshing as well. Their granola is so addictive, I didn’t like to eat my smoothie bowls with granola until I tasted Shaka’s house made granola! I love that they are dog friendly and let you build your own taco, smoothie, poke bowls, and smoothie bowls. Their merch is pretty nice too! If you’re looking for healthy foods this is the restaurant for you! Looking forward to trying more of their menu items!

We tried the Kilauea poke bowl, buffalo shrimp tacos and the vitamin sea smoothie. All were made with very fresh ingredients and were delicious - would get again!

Had the açai bowl and an aloha shake. Definitely the best açai bowl I’ve had in the US. Very tropical fresh, delicious and I felt great after. Coming back.

BANGING healthy food. Have ordered here a bunch of times and it’s always great. I love all the vegetarian options, plus the attention to gluten-free!

People talk about the prices here, but I’m not sure that they know how much garbage they usually eat and that’s why their food is cheaper.

You can tell everything is fresh and clean at Shaka and it’s well worth the price, especially since it’s so delicious.

Love their acai bowls; really enjoyed some spicy tacos with shrimp there as well. Very cozy plentiful seating in a well designed space

Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with celiac- the past two times I’ve ordered an acai bowl from here I’ve been glutened.

Dietary restrictions: Again, wouldn’t recommend if anyone has celiac or is sensitive to cross contamination

Great tacos but overpriced, they should offer 4-5 for $20 instead of 3, not filling enough.

I always wanted to try this restaurant after I saw Chef Kiersten win on the tv show Chopped. I finally made it there and ordered the Mauna Kea bowl to go and it was delicious and fresh! My friends also ordered an Aloha smoothie and the Hawaii bowl which they also really liked. I also like how their take out containers and utensils seem to be biodegradable. It was worth the price and the trip and can’t wait to go back!
