It is such a pleasure to be eating food created by Food Network’s Chopped Champion Chef Kiersten! I would watch Food Network all the time when I was younger so it’s pretty cool to have a local healthy restaurant who’s Chef is a Chopped Champion! People talk about the prices here, but I’m not sure that they know how much garbage they usually eat and that’s why their food is cheaper.
You can tell everything is fresh and clean at Shaka and it’s well worth the price, especially since it’s so delicious.

I always wanted to try this restaurant after I saw Chef Kiersten win on the tv show Chopped. I finally made it there and ordered the Mauna Kea bowl to go and it was delicious and fresh! My friends also ordered an Aloha smoothie and the Hawaii bowl which they also really liked. I also like how their take out containers and utensils seem to be biodegradable. It was worth the price and the trip and can’t wait to go back!
