South Street Fish & Ramen Co.

Me and my husband ordered from this place many times. However, on Christmas night, we ordered fried chicken and experienced severe food poisoning. All symptoms pointed to salmonella. I’ve tried calling the restaurant to inform them, but no one has answered. Be cautious—this could be due to a bad batch. The symptoms my husband and I experienced were quite serious.

It tasted okay. Nothing was chopped up. I just had a massive kale leaf. Big mango slices. It was almost impossible to have everything feel like it was mixing together. The poke sauce was spicyyyy. This is the first time I’ve ever had spicy poke sauce. It’s fine but I wish they would have said that in advance.

This is the best ramen broth I've ever had. I mean I been to fancier places but something here just tastes really good. I used to come here all the time when I lived in Hoboken. Now that I've moved back to NYC I still try to find excuses to come back to get a bowl.

Not sure if there is a chef back there or if someone just cooks the broth and maintains it but its delicious.

I used to love this place so much….inhabe always ordered the the sushi burrito. It used to be amazing! Now days it is never ever fully wrapped ( it like the trying to skimp on the Nori) even after I sent these details to please wrap properly. It’s impossible to eat! And not as tasty as it used to be. Feels like they also trying to save on napkins! They never ever give you any!

this is now a ghost kitchen. the spicy ramen broth is soooo delicious, best ramen in town. the poke bowls with spicy tuna are the best in Hudson county! trust me, I've tried them all!

We walked in and placed an order. When we got home one of our orders was completely incorrect. My wife does not like spicy (so she picked regular salmon and tuna). Instead, she recieved both spicy salmon and tuna. Like a good sport she still tried it and couldn’t eat any of it. I tried calling 3 times and it was forwarded. I am very disappointed with this outcome.

I don't know if the host today had an issue with me. But I wanted to look at the menu and see what sushi option they had. I decide that I wanted to dine in. I asked a simple question and she did not answer me. She instead told me to order from a tablet. I told her I wanted to dine in and then she pointed at the system to order. I felt an uncomfortable energy from her. It was like she didn't want me to go in. So I left and had a better experience else where.

Actually a great party on Friday nights

Ordered 2 ramens and an hour later had 2 containers of brother but only 1 of the ingredients- AKA paid for 2 but got one. Luckily it was good but wouldn't order again bc they don't answer the phone to fix the issue. Called twice.

Excellent! Our 8 year old said it’s literally the only place where I love the Ramen so much that I could eat it every day
