My go-to bakery in Hoboken! Though they recently changed their name the bread quality remains the same. Friendly staff that will go the extra mile to share with you which bread is suitable for kiddos too. Love their melon pan and butter roll. Nutella stuffed bread is a must if they have it.Their cakes are not too sweet and I particularly love their Tiramisu.
I love this place. Unfortunately, I think they closed down.
I love this cute little bakery. Cakes are fresh and delicious ?
Very tasty and fresh pastries that’s great any time of the day! Matcha (green tea) croissant, salty cheese cake (favorite!), taro pastry, Hot Dog pizza bread are some of the items we frequently get when we lived close by. Pastries, breads and desserts are on the lighter side so that they are satisfying without a ton of butter, sugar and calories. I make sure to stock up on these whenever I return to the neighborhood.
I am very fond of the cake and bread here, Asian style has always been my favorite bakery, but here the cashier is not very friendly, face the impatient, when I asked stuffing, didn't get the answer, I hope the service can be more localized, more enthusiasm, because the customer service represents a point can survival time!
Ordered through Grubhub and they cancelled some of the stuff I ordered because they are sold out. Why can’t they call customer first and ask if they want to substitute? Customer service is meh at best. Ugh!
I can't speak for the pastries but we bought a box of six assorted macarons and they were stale. We considered going back to tell them but decided the trek was not worth the $6.I do still want to come back to try the bakery items because I've had a curry puff at another Sunmerry location before (which is what I was looking for, but they didn't have) and it was really good. So I'm sure those would be good, but I would probably just avoid anything in the refrigerator display.
Such a cute Asian bakery in Hoboken. Authentic, with nice stuff and excellent baker. Always had great experiences when stopping by.
Horrible customer service!!! I was just there and the lady kept on ignoring me. Didn’t seem like she wanted to help me DEFINITELY wont be coming back
Pretty nice small bakery!

Love this bakery! Everything is fresh out of the oven! The Nutella bun is deff a favorite!
Amazing baked goods and such a friendly staff!
Not sure what the hype is about. Small selection and staff with an attitude. Really disappointed.
Located on the sunny street in Hoboken. This little shop have a good collection of breads and cake. All bakeries individually wrapped and the flavor is very Asian!Got a bubble tea and it has a relatively strong tea flavor, which I like. It’s refreshing and not artificial. They have buy 2 get 1 free promo for all bakeries (exclude cookies and whole cakes) so we got a chocolate chiffon cake, a coconut bread and a green tea croissant. The food and drink sums to $12 which is quite nice. They opened as early as 7am and got happy hour $1 coffee in the morning. Bread selections run out in the afternoon.
Exactly what Hoboken needs! Amongst all the other cafes and bakeries here, you won’t find a selection like Sunmerry. I wish they had custard egg tarts at this store, but they only have the cheese tarts. There was a buy 2, get 1 free deal on the desserts except the whole cakes. I liked that they had disposable gloves for patrons to use to pick up the baked goods. Very reasonably priced for an area that is outside of Chinatown. Friendly staff and a nicely curated baked goods line for Hoboken. Hope they’ll stay!
