So glad to have a sweetgreen in Hoboken. The quality is the same as in other locations.

I have been around many sweetgreen locations in the city and the quality of my meal at the new Hoboken location far exceeded other locations. I was a tad surprised to see it was setup as a take-out / to-go model location only, with ordering done at a kiosk, but it didn’t matter to me since I wasn’t planning on eating in. They are also using the robot technology to prepare the salads, so you don’t see all the veggies / fixing right in front of you like other locations. It was my first time experiencing the robot salad and the portions were very generous / quinoa perfectly warm. So if your priority is a quality salad or bowl then this place is for you, but if you’re looking for a more classic sweetgreen aesthetic with eat-in tables, you may be disappointed.

Ordered the elote bowl. Kinda gross. The warm greens, clumps of quinoa, and ambiguous dressing just didn't do it for me. Also, I don't know what cheesy substance was in the bowl, but did not fit the mexican vibe the bowl is supposedly to have.

I ordered a salad online for opening day for in store pickup. There is no seating inside except for the double level wooden platform on one side which spooked everyone else. The kitchen are was fairly clean and you can see most of it from the entrance, but you cannot look at the ingredients in person at this location.

The salad I got was overall very disappointing. The grape tomatoes were sliced into quarter inch drivers, so you get about only two tomatoes total. The roasted chicken is more steamed then anything else, so rather bland and tasteless. The arugula was fresh but the mixed greens were already wilterd or spoiled (on opening day). The tortilla chips were stale. The carrots are dry and sliced into rings, an unfortunate change in other locations too, they all used to do shredded carrots. The Caesar dressing was watery with just a bad flavor of anchovies. Even the bread was not a bakery bread but rather something from a supermarket pre sliced.
