T Thai Reviews
It is my favorite Thai restaurant. Their shrimp avocado salad and grilled squid is yo die for. It's byob but don't forget to gage their lychee juice.
My favorite place to eat now! Great service, price & quality each time I go! I've eaten the Jumbo Shrimps, fried Calamari, Tom Yun & Tom Kha soups, mango salad, soft shell crabs, and their sticky rice desert. My plan is to try everything on the menu and tell you if they are really that good. But, I can tell you, they've been consistently good! Can't wait to go there this weekend again :).
Food is good but service is very bad. Server was very rude and begging for tip. Her manager will ask for tip as well. Looks like they will expect tip amount Minimum $10 even though you have ordered for $20.They will keep asking you for tip in front of guest . If you don't increase your money they will ask to your guest with check.

T Thai is a family-run business known for serving authentic Thai food at great prices. Their portions are large, and ingredients are always fresh. Standout dishes include the pad Thai, glass noodle dish, and curry. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is quiet, making it suitable for personal conversations. Customers especially enjoy the seasonal mango sticky rice, which is a delicious and refreshing dessert. Recently, diners have praised the restaurant for dishes like fried shrimp rolls, steamed dumplings, shrimp pad Thai, and chili basil sauce with chicken, describing everything as incredible.
However, some reviews mention issues with delivery. Orders outside of Hoboken, such as in Jersey City, are often fulfilled through Uber Eats and delivered by bicycle messengers, sometimes without prior warning. This can lead to drinks not being properly sealed, causing spills during transit, and liquids arriving warm after long bicycle trips. Despite efforts to improve, some feel the restaurant does not control the delivery process, as the manager states it is the delivery person's fault. This lack of attention to securing drinks and sauces can leave a bitter taste.
The restaurant's interior is small and tucked in a corner, giving a hole-in-the-wall vibe. The menu offers standard Americanized Thai cuisine, with dishes like yum tum shrimp, mushroom soup, steamed dumplings, chicken skewers, squid pad Thai, and beef spicy noodles. These are well seasoned, but the spicy noodles are very spicy, so diners should consider their spice tolerance. Pad Thai has a slightly sour sauce, which some enjoy. Prices are low, and paying by cash earns a 5% discount, while card payments incur an additional 3.99%. Service is quick and efficient, though some customers have noted tense interactions with staff, especially when issues arise with orders. Overall, T Thai remains a popular spot for tasty, affordable Thai food, despite some delivery and service concerns.
