Overall, pizza is top 5 in Hoboken but on a good day. I know they say their pizza is well done but ours was blackened to the point where the crust was inedible. There is outdoor seating but their fan on the side of the building buzzes incessantly killing the atmosphere. Service is what you would expect, a messy area remained through the entire meal. I think this is a better takeout spot. Oh and also they don’t do tap water which is strange - $7 bottles the only option.

Was excited to try the pizza but left unhappy after waiting almost an hour for a simple pizza. we kept checking with the staff and they kept saying “5 mins “, I would have left after 20 mins but my boyfriend was really hungry. I really don’t understand especially since other customers would come and get their order before us, even this big family got their order before us (also pizzas and appetizers ). i don’t like jumping to conclusions as to why this happened but we were the only hispanic couple. do with that what you will

We have been here in the past and really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is very dark and it gets loud on the weekends, but the great pizza has made it worth coming back to. However, the experience took a big downturn this year. Our main complaint is that they do not provide free tap water. When we asked our waiter, they said it was because they are BYO. I have never experienced this at any other BYO restaurant in the US. Making us pay 7 dollars for a bottle of water felt very greedy when every other restaurant manages to give out water for free. I don’t enjoy feeling like I have to ration how much water I’m drinking to avoid paying extra. Especially since the food is not exactly cheap to begin with. If I was in Europe, at least I wouldn’t have to tip. The table next to us seemed equally appalled when their request for tap water was denied. The staff were perfectly nice and attentive outside of the water issue. I’m not sure if this is a new policy, but unfortunately my friends and I will not be returning.

The pizza here is genuinely excellent, easily some of the best I’ve had in the area, which is the main reason I’d be willing to give this place another chance.

Unfortunately, the service was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We placed a simple pizza order and ended up waiting nearly an hour before it arrived. About 15 minutes in, our waiter came back and asked what we had ordered, which made it seem like the order hadn’t been properly put in. Around 15 minutes after that, we followed up again and were told they would check on it, only to come back and say it would be a few more minutes because the original pizza had been “burnt.” We had a single round pie, half regular and half meatball ricotta, so it was not a large or even complex order.

During all of this, I had to ask multiple staff members for updates, and it was frustrating to see tables that were seated after us receive their food well before we did. The lack of communication and follow-through really stood out. I was even told I had to go outside myself to get the manager to alert him, which only compounded my frustration at an already irritating situation.

When the food finally arrived, it was excellent, but no one came by to check on us or apologize. At one point, the manager was standing right next to our table after the pizza came out and still didn’t acknowledge the situation or check how things were, which was disappointing.

To their credit, they did cover our bill at the end, which I appreciate and which is the reason I’d be open to returning to give them one more chance. That said, I would have much preferred a timely, well-managed meal over a comped one. The food is truly great, but the service needs significant improvement to match it.

The food was good but service was shit. They should open up a pizza window and just sell pizza out a window. We waited 1:20 mins for a pizza and the manager didn’t apologize at all. What a joke! I watched them hand out pizza every 2-3 mins to people coming in and out to grab their pizzas.

Big fan of their pepperoni pizza. Its a thin pie, but it tastes great. I always get chili oil on the side as well.

We had ordered the square pizza for delivery. I wasn’t impressed by the pizza and was disappointed. We ordered the square buffala pie with two different toppings which came out to a whopping $70 for one pizza with delivery fee and not including tip for the nice delivery guy.

The pizza toppings were good. The pesto we added was flavorful. The pizza crust was not it. I knew before ordering that tenth street pizza was known for their thin and crispy pizza, this pizza was thin but not crispy and was surprisingly tough. The pizza was not good and not worth $70. I would try tenth street pizza again just not the buffala pie for $70.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review but I feel inclined to in case it’s helpful for any new parents. I’ve been here a few times in the past and absolutely loved the food so my husband and I were looking forward to having dinner here with our 5 month old as we rarely go out to dinner anymore since the baby.

We get to the restaurant this evening around 6p and tried to bring the stroller up the first step and get immediately stopped by the waiter who (in my opinion) aggressively said we can’t bring the stroller in. That was no problem at all. As we began to park the stroller to the side he asked if it was dinner for 2 and the car seat. We said yes. He said there are no tables available but we can clearly see the first table for 6 in the window is empty. I wasn’t sure if there was a reservation or if they simply couldn’t split the tables to make it for a party of 2 and for a party of 4 (as I’ve experienced/witnessed restaurants accommodate customers that way before).

Nonetheless, we didn’t feel welcome. He didn’t give us an approximate wait time, or invite us to wait inside. We were just standing outside in the winter cold with the baby so decided to dine elsewhere.

Overall, terrible customer service. If the table was empty, I don’t see why we couldn’t at least wait there. He had us standing out in the cold with a baby.

Great Pizza - but 90 minutes wait for a Pie is not worth my time ! Location is their benefit so obviously they didn’t give a damn about my query !

I would not dine-in here on a busy night since it’s loud and chaotic but the pizza is usually delicious. Sometimes crust is burnt or not enough sauce.
