Amazing find Great staff. Nice long bar and a back yard space. Food is not served but you can order what ever you want for delivery. Dog friendly on leash if your dog in return is friendly to dogs and people

If you're in Hoboken, Ale house is the place to go. It's conveniently located but parking can be an issue. It's a typical bar but they have great deals. They have TV's at the bar so you can watch the games. They don't have a large selection of beers but still have decent options. The wells drinks are not bad either. If you're looking for cocktails this might not be the place. This would be a good place to go to catch the game and have some beers or a simple drink. At the end of the bar they also offer free popcorn for patrons. In the back they have a shuffle board and pool table. Was there on a Saturday night so it was slightly crowded. This is a dog friendly place so you're welcome to bring your furry friend as a guest. If you're in the area definitely check this place out if you're in the mood for some beers and want reasonable prices.

This guy keeps writing passive- aggressive responses back to the reviewers that are negative. He’s not genuinely apologetic, if a massive group of people are saying the same thing, if you’re at fault as well…take responsibility. There no reason to be bias towards whoever you “like.” The other men in bar were aggressive as well, and how come they weren’t thrown out the bar? If your truly equal, don’t show partially. If you so rightly believe that this group of people were college kids, then how come the adults were banging dishes and barking back at them? Show some maturity…. or did you forget to be a human and not like act like dog as you’re so called pet- friendly too. Don’t like what I said, right? Then learn to talk with respect, if you want respect back.

Me and my friends last night had a deeply disappointing and disrespectful experience at The Ale House. I feel compelled to share my encounter to caution others about the lack of respect and racist behavior from the bar attender who even refuse to give his name.I hope that my review encourages The Ale House to reflect on their practices and take steps towards improving their customer service and handling of such situations. It is my sincere hope that others are not subjected to the same mistreatment that I experienced. Please think twice before considering a visit to the Ale house, as there are many other establishments in the area that prioritize their customers' well-being and treat them with the respect they deserve.Shuffleboard pooltable popcorn darts dog friendly

I don’t even know where to start. The utter disregard and disrespect to their customers that are not regulars clearly show. They were rude and unkind. To be clarify the owners below response, we weren’t escorted out of the bar for playing a game as the owner suggests. We were escorted out after we asked the person claiming to be the “manager” what his name was, to which he didn’t respond and reacted by banging the dishes he had in his hand on the bar table. On top of this a bystander decided he wanted to put his hands on our female friends. This altercation plus another bystander pulling the man away from my female friends is the reason why WE were escorted out and not the bystander who tried to fight the females.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever step foot in this joke of a place . We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday and we were trying one of their board games. The bartender came out and yelled at us for no reason and screamed “if you don’t know how to play it, you shouldn’t be playing it.” When our female friend went to question it, she got yelled in the face by the same dude who claimed to be the manager. And one of their “regular customers” started misbehaving to our female friends but they didn’t do anything about it. This place has no respect to their customers. Extremely racist and rude.

The same group that was asked to leave for obnoxious behavior keeps giving the same, rehearsed, 1 star reviews. They won't make a difference. The bar is thriving and the patrons love it. Free pool, shuffleboard, darts, trivia, live music and a rooftop pickleball court.

Brilliant local bar in Hoboken. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Enjoyed a bar quiz night while I was there. Highly recommend!

I saw cockroaches in this place and the bartender is completely rude! They were argumentative and the owner is clueless to his rude staff!

Worst experience ever. Rude bartender who yelled at our group. We tried to speak to the owner and he was absolutely rude as well with no accountability.
