So rude doorman. Totally racist
Wish I could give a better review…
Never heard of a 23+ entry rules on Fridays and Saturdays.
Our group consisted of 2- 22 y/o and 2 25y/o - were not able to meet the rest of our party inside the pub.
I’ve traveled all around the country and around the world, never heard of such a rule!
Disappointing!

Thumbs down..?..read on...I wish I could give no stars...I usually refrain myself from giving 0 stars...but this was a pathetic experience!!! Hope this is an eye opener for all...
!~! Keep your self respect and go to a place where they value you !~!
You lost a good customer..not that you would care, would ya???
I visited there today with my German colleagues and to have them experience a great time in this particular spot. This was my go to spot for a long time...To my surprise and horror (maybe Halloween time) it was the worst experience ever and I looked like a fool in front of my colleagues. So basically we had to show IDs and me being a localite showed my NJ Id, 2 of my German colleagues had their German IDs, one of them (a lady) didn't have a physical ID to show but she did show her passport on the phone. "So to speak" bartender/ acting manager didn't acknowledge that and was very reluctant in letting us stay and said that without a physical ID, the lady couldn't get in...I mean seriously...im bringing guests to your establishment to show them a good time and this is how you treat visitors from another country??? I was super pissed and tried to reason with the so called bartender whatever, but he didn't budge...anyways..horrible experience...I used to frequent this place for many years and this is what you have to offer...Very Sad...I hope the owner reads this and educates his staff or yet fires that imbecile person...sheesh..

I have been living in Hoboken for 2 years now. Ferryman always is a safe bet. A quick bite between meetings, beers with friends. Especially Aaron makes the place feel homey and warm.

I don’t leave negative reviews unless it’s really bad. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and the only way to describe the taste is pure vomit. It literally tasted like someone threw up into the chicken, tossed it all together, and served it in a wrap. I took one bite and asked the person I was with to tell me what it tasted like, and he immediately said the same thing. The worst part was they refused to comp it and made me pay for a $15 vomit wrap. Never coming back here. Bartender was super nice tho.
I did not expect to have one of the best cocktails of my life today. Seriously, and of all places it was at a dive bar! Ask Arin for the Boulevardier.

Love the atmosphere during the weekends. They have a pool table and few dart boards, great place to hangout with friends.
