We enjoyed our breakfast at The Little Grocery. Nothing fancy, but everything was done just right and the service was excellent. I don't know why it took us so many years to discover this local gem.

If you’re looking for the best sandwiches in Hoboken, look no further. This quaint little spot is a local staple for a reason. The sandwiches? Next level. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that hit every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or taking your time to soak in the vibe, this place delivers every single visit. A must-try for anyone in town—Hoboken just wouldn’t be the same without it.

We were visiting Hoboken from NC. We found this perfect little coffee shop. Small, quaint little place. Not too crowded. Amazing service. We felt right at home! The peaceful time spent enjoying a bagel breakfast sandwich and some coffee was just what we needed to start our venture into the madness of NYC each morning. We will definitely be back and appreciate the hospitality and morning convos learning more about Hoboken!

Young lady working behind the counter didn't sound welcoming. French omelette that I ordered was super salty. Worst part was my dirty fork 🤢. check your cutlery before you eat there.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner and staff are extremely rude. We ordered sandwiches to go but then decided to sit at their outside tables to eat and were yelled at for it. The woman (who I believe was the owner) took the brown paper to go back off of our table and said “give me my bag back.” They had no napkins or trash can. Sandwiches had one paper thin slice of pork roll on them. I regret spending money here

I had a great breakfast at The Little Grocery. The Egg, Asiago, Tomato & Pesto sandwich on a croissant was delicious—flaky, fresh, and full of flavor. The iced coffee was perfect too. Friendly staff and a nice, cozy spot. I’ll definitely be back!

This is just a kind suggestion—please take some time to learn how to make a proper coffee. Today’s cappuccino was extremely hot with no coffee flavor.

Adorable little coffee shop with some delicious build-your-own breakfast sandwiches. The sandwich I had was really tasty with a unique, soft french roll.
The almond croissant I had, however, left much to be desired. The almond croissant was hard as a rock. I hope this was a fluke, but was still disappointed in the freshness of the pastry.
I'll have to go back again perhaps earlier in the morning (I originally went around 10am). Looking forward to next time!
