The Lola - Cocktail Lab & Eatery

We went for a birthday brunch and there was 7 of us. We drove quite a way and I’m pregnant so we decided not to do the bottomless drinks. It was kind of off putting because they seem to automatically think you’re going to by setting every table up with orange juice. We almost drank it but we were busy talking and didn’t pour it but then when we went to the server came over and took it and put it on the counter with the other juices. One, I don’t think they should be putting anything on the table that’s going to be taken away. Also, why wait till we’ve already said we’re not doing the bottomless and start taking food orders and then take it? The service was practically absent. Yes we were talking and enjoying our time but we only saw her 3 times. Never got the the chance to order a second round of drinks. Never asked how our food was (which was not good). Never got more water. Didn’t come to the table for 20 minutes after we sat and we were the second table in the restaurant. There was an automatic 20% on the bill due to our size but we were barely served. The food was overly sweet, drenched in grease, or extremely over cooked. The atmosphere is cute but it’s not anything to write home about. Overall very unpleasant experience for the birthday we were trying to celebrate.

This place is a joke! Food horrible, service horrible. Low vibrational will not return! Also, you have to pay for parking so consider that if you plan to come

My food was great, our waitress was amazing but the restaurant was extremely cold (no heat in December) and I don’t know who this person was she wasn’t in uniform but she was very nasty about our 90 minute window for the table. She was very aggressive in her tone in asking us to leave and just unprofessional overall. I believe her name is Rynashia but she refused to tell us her name when asked so I’m not sure. Overall I wouldn’t come back because of her.

The marketing is great to get you there. Service was ok vibe was nice the wait for food was long and still came out cold and unfortunately was not good.

The food was great, our waitress was great as well but there was a third party worker who was very nasty to us in asking us to leave once our 90 minute window to hold the table had closed. She wasn't professional or kind in her delivery whatsoever. She also refused to tell us her name when asked.

Food was not my favorite but the drinks were good! The waitresses were 1000000/10! The place was packed & they handled the entire establishment like champs. Would go back just for them🫶🏼

Awful experience and bad service. Took forever to get drinks and food. Food was beyond subpar. Not worth the money at all. Will not be going back there. 

I am shocked this place gets food reviews. It is a beautiful space and view - and the staff were welcoming. But ... the food and drinks were really, really bad. I felt the food was basically inedible and I sent my cocktail back. Tourist trap? Also half empty on a Friday night.

$10 cocktails, $10 bites, and a whole lot of fun! Let me put you on to The Lola in Hoboken — because their new “The Lola Perfect 10” nights are seriously a 10 out of 10! On select nights, you can grab signature cocktails and small bites for just ten bucks! In this economy, you can’t beat that!

I started with the Glass Slipper cocktail — it’s light, sweet, and super smooth with this gorgeous shimmer to it. Definitely one of those ‘take a pic before you sip’ moments.

The garlic parm wings were perfectly crispy with that buttery garlic flavor that hits just right. The mac and cheese croquettes were creamy, cheesy little bites of heaven — seriously, comfort food perfection. The firecracker meatballs had the perfect mix of sweet and spicy — such a flavor bomb — and the ceviche was bright, citrusy, and so fresh.

Da Lola burger was juicy and loaded with flavor, but the birria burger? That one stole the show. Dipped in consomé, cheesy, messy, and worth every bite! The penne vodka was creamy, rich, and totally addictive — exactly how comfort pasta should taste. (These three items are not part of The Lola Perfect 10).

The Lola is one of those places where you come for dinner and end up staying for the vibes — good music, great food, and even better energy. So grab your crew and check out The Lola Perfect 10 — all the fun you need for the perfect Hoboken night out!

Our wait staff made this experience unbelievable. Got our whole party up and excited even though it was 10 am. Went above and beyond for our friends birthday and Jen was the absolute best. We will definitely be back.
