We waited for 40 minutes before we finally caught the waitresses attention . after she took our orders, the food took forever to get here, and she never refilled our drinks and she was kind of snobby to us. Wonât be going back there soon.

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! SCAMMMERS! They deleted my first review⊠so Iâm gonna give it again. I saw this place advertising for New Yearâs Eve- $35 wristbands per person- it said on the site that it included a champagne toast at the Shannon and three other bars to go in and out of besides the Shannon. So my friends and I decide to go, we head into the Shannon first, we paid on their site and showed them, they let us enter. After a bit we get a drink and frankly it was boring and we wanted to leave so we CLARIFIED with the people in charge that what they stated on their site was true and that we could come back later. They say âYESâ, and OBVIOUSLY THEY LIED. Long story short we go to the bars that were supposedly included, they all said that it was untrue and that they only have their own regular charge for New Yearâs Eve. We go back to confront the Shannon and they all act like they never saw us ever come in. They say that they are closed and no one else is allowed in which was some stupid BS because they let other people in right in front of us. Anyways another bar was kind enough to give us a discount because it was pouring rain and we were obviously scammed. All of this to say def DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Pretty cool place to go out if you like a DJ that plays dance music. However the cover was twice as much for guys as it was for girls, which might be normal for this area but it was a little annoying. The DJ was fine, although it wasn't really my type of music. Bathrooms were also quite small.
I had my birthday party here and it was an absolute blast! I worked with Patrick, who was fantastic, super informative, responsive, and made sure everything ran smoothly so everyone had a great time.
We had the party in the back room, which was perfect for a fun, laid-back vibe. They had giant Jenga, Connect Four, pool, cornhole, and even set up beer pong for us. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the open bar was both affordable and well-stocked with quality drinks.
Overall, such a great spot to celebrate! Highly recommend it for your next birthday or group event.

HOBOKEN: The Shannon is well-known for being a dog friendly bar and popular with locals, so we knew we had to visit after receiving recommendations from a bunch of people. If you had any question that this place is an Irish pub, you will receive the answer with a big Irish and Jameson flag draped proudly as you enter the bar. In addition to their Irish heritage, The Shannon is also a great sports bar and dance club.
We love that leashed and friendly dogs are allowed, but only before the night life begins, so get there when they open to enjoy a drink from their full bar, play pool, watch the game, bring your own food, and meet some super cool people. There is a space up front with one bar and a back room with another bar, so plenty of space to enjoy some dog friendly fun! We love that there were a few other dogs enjoying New Years celebrations and it makes us happy that they all met at a local dog park. The staff is great and always checking-in. We heard Sundays are great to bring your dog as it is like an impromptu Yappy Hour!

There is no food but there is a lot of variety in beers and cocktails. The atmosphere is very good, the owner welcomed us very kindly and we felt very comfortable at all times. It should be noted that the day we went (Thursday night) there was a karaoke where anyone could participate and the experience was magnificent. We will repeat without a doubt.

Was drinking and went outside real quick for a phone call, and the bouncer wouldn't let me back in. I had a full drink and my glasses; he refused to let be go back in and let me get anything because they "don't let anyone in after 2". I had to leave my glasses at the bar and of course they went missing. This place is ridiculous.
