We waited for 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order. And another 30 minutes to get our food…

Somewhat it is kind of crowded.
The food is above average.
The service of the turning point has fell off quite a bit from what I am use to from this amazing breakfast spot Not once the the server come to refresh or ask if we needed a refill and also had to be reminded where's our coffee and they weren't as busy as they usually are Brenda we need you back

Just spare yourself. I’ve tried to come here twice and left unhappy both times.
First time was our fault for not knowing the wait would be so long. Second time (14 months later), wised up and put ourselves in the waiting list. 70-100 minutes. Okay…get coffee, wander, take photos - no problem.
Check in and get told 30 more minutes. 45 minutes later had to go repeatedly ask the three people at the host stand why we have been waiting for TWO HOURS to be seated with other people who arrived after us blatantly being seated before. How do I know they didn’t put their names in first? I started asking the other people around us and was checking the current listed wait time plus the link we were sent.
Who cares what the food tastes like if they don’t even bother to seat you for it? Could’ve gone somewhere else, eaten, and left in the time it took for this place to bother to care.
Writing this review from the table where we have also been waiting 15 minutes just to get a drink. Should I go pour my own Diet Pepsi at this point? 🙃
100 min table wait and 40 min food wait is the best joke of 2025 🥳🥳🥳

Turning Point is the perfect brunch spot for great views and value for money. We had a booth by the window which was lovely, the overall atmosphere was very chilled. The food portions and quality can't be faulted as we were stuffed for the rest of the day! We ordered three meals (shared between two) and two drinks and it was less than $50. The only fault we had was tidiness - our table had some food and rubbish underneath from a previous customer and the bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Saying that, overall we really enjoyed our brunch and would still recommend taking any visitors here.

Too small, we left before trying the food.

I had a terrible experience at this cafe. The hostess was blatantly rude and discriminatory. Despite being told to wait for 25 minutes, we ended up waiting for 40 minutes, only to see other customers—who arrived after us—being seated before us. When we questioned it, her attitude made it clear she wasn’t treating everyone fairly.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and left a sour taste for what was supposed to be a pleasant outing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they fix their staff’s attitude and ensure everyone is treated with respect and fairness.
Service is actually out of control bad. I should need to ask for a fork multiple times, receive cold as shit pancakes and never get milk for my coffee. Turning point, you got me good on a bad day

I was really disappointed when I found a bug in my food. It completely ruined the meal and made me lose my appetite. It’s not just gross—it’s unacceptable. I expected much better quality and hygiene. Won’t be coming back.

Service was too slow but food was better. Cappuccino was mediocre!

Seated in the far corner of the Place Although there was a lot free. Food was not spectacular. Coffee too. It was cold and pound and the floor was full of food. The waiter that brought we to my table was unfriendly. The next waiter tried his best. No need at all to go there again.

Tasty food, nice diner ambiance. The pumpkin pancakes were scrumptious. Make sure you put yourself on the wait-list if you go on the weekend! The wait time can be over an hour!

It’s a great place for brunch in Hoboken but limited vegetarian menu and hardly any protein options for vegetarian/vegan diet. I like their beetroot juice and quinoa bowl. Pancakes/pastries are sort of dry and there are many better places for it.
