I think unlike most customers here I go in person with my father. I see lots of takeout orders. It’s a nice slow paced experience in person. They don’t fill up to the point you feel pressured to order. Just take your time ordering what you want.

Very impressive with the service and the food. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and nice, you rarely get this kind of treatment anywhere. We got the Korean soup and chicken udon. Chicken was tender, and the broth was tasty. Seared salmon and spicy tuna sushi were great too. The sauce they use on top is so good, you don’t even need to use the soy sauce with it. Will be back to get the sashimi.
I just started working in the nearby area and this is the first place I went for lunch . The service was delicious (I got it to go) the sushi was delicious , I went a few days later (eat in) and the owner remembered me he said “OH your back” . Super nice and the food is good. It’s small but nice . And the service is good!

You get more than what you pay for at Ubu which says a lot about the surrounding restaurants since you get so little with how much you pay. Will be coming back more often.

We order seafood tofu soup. There was only one shrimp and one clam. And it’s $15. The taste is about average. Off shelves miso soup is way better. I have been this place three times this month. Third time is a charm. We had some argument about the food I ordered. The owner become agitated and rude. If you have some experience with Japanese/ Korean, you would know the food here is only edible.

Soon doo boo soup tastes like instant msg soup and salty. There are some review-inflations across board. This place's yelp review is only 3.6. You are better off having instant noodle. Avoid this place. Edited(The owner seems like didn't agree with my comment and somehow got my previous review deleted. If you are curious about the food, go ahead. I rarely do restaurant reviews on google and have never had an unpleasant encounter with a restaurant owner until now. Maybe I watched too many episodes of Hell's kitchen.)
