Verizza

We ordered a Funghi pizza for pickup through Slice. The pizza was ready when we got there and the service was great and very efficient. The pizza itself was pretty good, but it's a thin pizza so it was a bit soggy when were eating it. Otherwise, good flavor and great service!

Artisanal Neapolitan Pizza, this is not your run of the mill Jersey pizza spot. If you're looking for something a little fancier for takeout, this is a great spot. They recently brought their prices down which was my only complaint about the place when I first ordered from there! Hoping that the price change allows more people to experience this little gem! I had been anticipating a visit to Verizza for months and finally made the trip downtown for Friday night pizza. I called in my order and essentially got to select my pickup time.We ordered 2 pies between the two of us: the Salentina and the Tartufata. Unfortunately I had to wait for another 10 minutes upon pickup, but at least I knew the pies were fresh.The physical space is very nice albeit not in a heavily trafficked area.
