So, no shade to anyone but….there’s Subway, and then there’s Vito’s. I had to stop eating at Subway sometime ago. The quality drastically reduced and it just didn’t hit the same for me. Last summer, a friend and I came across Vito’s. We were craving a good hero/cold cut and checked out some of the reviews and saw that they were good, so went inside. I wanted to try their roast beef and mutz! I know, I know, there is another place in Hoboken that does that sandwich very well. But it was a Wednesday 🤷🏻‍♂️. The roast beef tasted a bit dry and the bread wasn't that great.

There are very good reasons for the rave reviews of this quaint Italian deli. The food is more than just memorable, it's what legends are made of. Vito and Sons Deli offers quality, authentic Italian fare, and even adds a Latin twist on certain offerings, like the Italian Cuban sandwich. When you combine the amazing food with the friendly service, you've got a hit. I only had an afternoon to drop in, but this place is well worth the visit anytime.
