What a shame. Yueng II was a staple in my takeout rotation but it is not anymore. Prices increased and the quality went downhill. It’s clear there is new management in charge. They don’t even use the classic paper rice box!!

Solid, simple chicken and broccoli.
Ever since the new managing took over, the quality of sushi has significantly changed. Smaller portions, rolls are falling apart, they changed some menu items and not for the better. So disappointed!! I was hoping it was just growing pains but looks like it’s here to stay the way it is.

I was coming back from work today — I work in the restaurant industry — and I called them after 10 PM because I wanted to get rice, steamed vegetables, etc., after my shift. They didn’t answer the phone, but I still drove to the restaurant. When I got there, I realized they were already getting ready to leave at 10:20, even though Google says they’re open until 10:30. I ended up wasting my time.
As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know that closing properly takes time. You usually stop taking phone calls at least an hour before closing, stop accepting orders around 30–40 minutes before, and start shutting down maybe 10 minutes before the posted time. But this place seemed to have already closed by 10:20, which doesn’t match their listed hours.

Under new management and not the same place! Would not recommend.
We have been going to them for years and they recently got bought out.
This was our experience:
Miso soup is half the size as it normally is
We got the sushi dinner and there was only rice for half of the fish
Pretty much skimping on everything
SO sad to see because they were so nice before. RIP

This used to be my go-to sushi spot but I think they are under new ownership/ management and the quality has noticeably gone down and prices have gone up.
Wonton soup is iridescent and has a distinct taste (not in a good way). The “fried rice” is just white rice with no flavor that they added chicken to. The sesame chicken wasn’t great but was at least edible. Wasted $40 on a meal for 2. Do not recommend
The falloff has returned. I’ve lived here for almost 20 years in the area & Yueng 2 has been our go to for Chinese takeout. There was a brief stretch where we stopped going to them because management changed & switched to Precious for a stretch in 2022, but we went back to Yeung 2 after a year because they tasted like they used to & the quality was there.
They are back to sucking again. Portions were abysmal. My wife only got one shrimp in her seafood noodle soup. The white rice portions for meals is WEAK. The flavor seriously lacking. Beef and broccoli is BASIC and they messed that up. The sushi is a regular for us and it was dry. The preparation of the sushi pizza wasn’t the same and AGAIN sub par. For the cost ($118 and we tipped for the pick up because that’s how much we dug the service) it better taste right. This ain’t it. On to the next.

Delicious sushi, always fresh, fast, and reliable. One of my go to restaurants for delivery.
Edit:
I normally love this restaurant but today I received incorrect items in my delivery order. I ordered a shrimp asparagus hand roll and didn’t there was no shrimp. I ordered a kani salad with no crunch and there were tempura flakes. I also ordered a sushi entree special that comes with a spicy tuna avocado roll but I received a tuna avocado roll. Maybe it was an off night or their machine didn’t take my order correctly.

Came here tonight for the first time and was really disappointed with the service. We ordered many things - appetizers, sushi, and other dishes.
One of the dishes was the Mongolian Beef. There were maybe 5 small pieces of beef in this dish, with the remainder being vegetables (mostly onion). Truly felt like an onion dish. Not good!
The kicker - When we told the server, we hoped she would offer to bring out a little more extra beef. Or even apologize for us not liking it and ask if we want something else! Instead she had the nerve to say “if you wanted more beef you should have ordered the steak dish”.
We were so shocked by this response that we paid our bill (almost $100) and decided never to come back. We absolutely would have been back had her response been even slightly empathetic or offering to make it “right” in any way.
