(Where's the Shrewsbury location's reviews?) Excellent. Everything. Fresh ingredients prepared beautifully. The large dining room with its high ceiling creates a spacious feeling. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We ate at the "chef's counter" which suited us perfectly.

Ordered was a plain cheese personal pizza. The pizza was good. Quality ingredients are used here. The crust was thin with a decent sized edge. Although it is thin, there is a slight chew to it. Topped with savory sauce and a good amount of mozzarella cheese for that perfect cheese pull after a bite. Notes: * Located in the Historic Bell Labs building in Holmdel. * Parking lot. It's huge. * Lots of eating areas.

Corbo & Sons is located inside a smallish food court in Bell Works. They currently serve 5 speciality pizzas. Either 12 or 16 inches in size. Come in right after opening on a Saturday (3:00). I've seen a few reviews in here mentioning wine. But we didn't see it on the menu. Think they were talking about Bar Bella which is right outside in the courtyard. Anyway... We were a party of 3 this time after checking out the farmers market right outside. Ordering up an appetizer first of those Veal ricotta meatballs. Very good start. Following that up with 2 small pizzas. A margherita , along with one white + rosemary. Of the two, white + rosemary was definitely the favorite. That one has ricotta, confit garlic and caramelized onions. Cooked perfectly with just a hint of garlic. And most important there was a fold and no flop. :) If it's only a few people, you will probably have leftovers. Worth a look if your in Holmdel and want to try brick oven pizza.

I was once advised by one of my favorite Yelpers when he goes to a new pizzeria, he always orders a plain slice with a glass of water. This way, he can truly taste how good their pizza is. Taking his advice, Hubby and I decided to order a plain. At Corbo and Sons, you cannot order by the slice. Hubby and I ordered a 12" plain personal pizza. Believe me, it's big enough to feed two people. If you so desire, you can order a glass of wine or beer to go with your pizza. After ordering, we waited for about 13 minutes and our pie was ready. I truly appreciated their fast service but the question remains: is their pizza delicious? Have you ever had cheese that was so chewy and oddly enough, balls up in your mouth as you're consuming the slice? The reasoning behind that is two words: old cheese. Hubby and I ordered a 12" plain personal pizza. Believe me, it's good enough for two people. I took my first bite. The sauce was seasoned nicely with some oregano and the cheese was fresh. Very good start! My only complaint is that the thin crust was a bit soggy. It wasn't too bad but for a thin crust, I was expecting it to be crispier. The staff and service were very good and we will be returning to try other things. It passed the plain pizza test.

Ordered the white rosemary pie. Pizza crust was good but the pizza itself was a little bland. Maybe if the caramelized onion were dispersed a little more evenly or there was more rosemary. Service was relatively quick and food was hot.

Great pizza but every time i come here they are closed. They have different hours for different days and it is extremely confusing. I went out of my way to drive here to get a quick bite with my friends on Dec 23, and when i got there, they were closed. The worker there informed me that they closed two hours early because it was Christmas Eve the next day. It just doesn’t make any sense to me and is very frustrating. On top of that the brick oven is only used on days they close at 3pm, so the brick oven that is nicely displayed for all to see, is not used half the time… They just don’t follow the hours that they have posted online. This is the third time i came here and they closed early for some reason.

The pizza was very sparse on mozzarella and basil - for the price charged - use some more ingredients. Rating 3 star as the pizza was ok and staff was friendly - a lot of room for improvement in the food. Also - to wait 70 mins for a pizza is a little tough to accept........ I will try it again as there truly are no good food options in Bellworks.......

The wood burning ovens shut down at 3pm and there is no indication of that on the website or anywhere else, not good when that is what you come for. The pizza after they shut down made conventional is less than average the microwave meatballs were fair,

Ordered the margarita pizza and it did not disappoint! They have a nice choice of beers and wines, service was really pleasant. Took food outside to eat where there are numerous tables and seating options. Will be back!

We enjoyed an evening at Bar Bella & ordered dinner from Corbo & Sons. I really enjoyed the Veal Ricotta Meatballs & the Veal Milanese. Others in our party had the cheese platter & Mixed green salad. Everyone was pleased. Ordering was a little less than user friendly, but the food made up for it.
