While the chicken and steak have great serving sizes, the seafood and scallop hibachi dinner had 5 shrimp and 4 scallops even though it is priced higher than the chicken and steak. Total rip off for seafood.

Ichiban Japanese Restaurant is easily one of the best spots for authentic and fresh Japanese food in the area. The sushi is always top-quality — beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and made with care. The rolls are creative without being overcomplicated, and everything tastes incredibly fresh.

Beyond the sushi, the hibachi and kitchen entrees are just as impressive. Portions are generous, flavors are spot on, and you can tell the chefs take pride in their work. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual dining and special occasions.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always quick to offer recommendations or answer questions. Service is efficient without ever feeling rushed, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Food sucked. I ordered takeout hibachi chicken and shrimp. She said it would take 15 minutes. Fried rice was terrible and chicken didn't have a good taste and shrimp didn't look like it was just cooked. Felt like it was already made way before I placed an order. Was not worth no damn 50 dollars. In trash can it went. Should be ashamed to serve food like this. And it was my birthday and thanks for nothing.

As I walked in I felt amazed at the place ⛩️, great spacious environment with a lot of seating. When I asked for hibachi for one; the hostess looked at me crazy as if I was asking for something difficult.

Anyways, decided to sit down regardless and try their food out which was very tasty. EXCEPT THE SOUP. It really tasted bland and disgusting. I had ordered Spicy Salmon 🍣 for an appetizer which was top-notch . Lunch special is around 17$ but for the amount of food it’s great! 😌

The salad is one of those things that gets me excited to come back to any hibachi spot. The salad dressing definitely hits the ball out of the park. 🥗

The noodles and rice were great no complaints.

It can be Celiac safe for hibachi. I’ve eaten here twice, one server was fantastic the other was a little confused on gluten free. But both times I didn’t get sick. However on both times my food was ice cold. Not sure if the gluten free hibachi is frozen then defrosted but two for two on absolutely cold food.

For regular diners, huge portions for the price. Very attentive service. Just a little loud in the regular dining room

When I’m hungry and want something quick and delicious, I always come here! This is my favorite sushi and hibachi spot – they greet me by name, the food is always fresh, portions are generous, and it’s tasty!

Disappointing for the fact you are rushed throughout the experience.

Horrible!!! I don’t recommend this restaurant anymore, I used to go there but the last couple of times after I ate there I felt sick.

Huge hibachi portions for the price! Great show and very entertaining. You can bring your own alcohol to the hibachi tables. The hibachi chefs and wait staff are super prompt and you get exactly what you order. They also have great sushi! We went with a party of 14 people for my brother’s birthday and everybody was satisfied with their hibachi dinne!

Disappointed with our visit. We came as a group of four for hibachi, and the experience did not meet expectations. The food quality was lacking — only three eggs were used for fried rice shared among eight people, which felt extremely stingy. Both the noodles and steak were overly salty, and the lobster tasted like it had been frozen for a while — definitely not fresh.

The hibachi performance was underwhelming and felt rushed, with very little engagement or energy. For the price and reputation, we expected much better. Unfortunately, we left feeling unsatisfied and won’t be returning.
