Quite possibly the worst poke bowl I've ever had. The bowls are expensive and filled with pickled veggies, nothing fresh and probably the lowest grade sushi fish. I did like that I could order from the screen so I could take my time but other than that I would not recommend this place.

First time posting. If you like cafeteria Ramen this is your place. It lacked everything Ramen is suppose to be. Over priced and please save your money and don't order the Pork or beef skewers. The pork skewers are actually small hotdogs and the Beef skewer tastes like it was made yesterday. #RamenTasteLess

Staff is nice. Serving size is subpar. It’s $15 for 3 grilled shrimp - that’s below my expectation and borderline rude.

This place offers takeout but doesn't have proper containers for takeout. I ordered ramen and they put the soup right over the noodles and covered it with some flimsy cover. I have never experienced any restaurants adding soup to the noodles directly for take out orders for obvious reasons. I then noticed the bowl wasn't closed properly and told the cashier but instead of changing the container, she just put the same cover back and by the time I walked to the car, the whole bag was leaking. I was so put off by the whole crews' nonchalant manner, I didn't even return to complain.

Food is truly amazing, customer service is really good. Really accommodating too for allergies. Make sure you specify food needs beforehand.

Taste great but protein portions are laughably small. Expect to leave hungry. Also not open anytime except lunch on weekdays.

Jozu is the best Asian food in Monmouth County. If you’re looking for the perfect rice bowl, look no further. This place is great. It’s also fresh, amazing, and fast. As an avid foodie and traveler, we are lucky to have this concept available to us in our own backyard. The rice is cooked to perfection. Most places just place ingredients on top of mushy steamed rice and call it a bowl. JOZU composes it’s dishes to perfection. Every ingredient is flawlessly executed. The proteins are flavorful and juicy, the slightly charred broccoli and togarashi take this bowl to the next level. This place is a weekly must

For 12 dollars, I feel like it is worth it and not worth it, ramen portion was more on the low side and you have to buy pork belly in order to get it. Just comes with mushroom and an egg. I added the crab stick. Broth was moderate, nothing too special

My friend and I decided to order two different types of bowls so that we could share. I chose the vegetarian Robata over white rice and my friend chose the salmon Poke bowl. My veggies were very nicely roasted, fresh, and the accompanying teriyaki sauce (on the side) was a perfect pairing for the bowl. They accidentally put brown rice instead but I was fine about it. My friend's salmon poke bowl was with mixed greens as the base and really great toppings until we tasted the salmon. She requested yuzu avocado sauce on the side and believe me, the salmon needed it. The texture of the salmon truly was oddly rubbery. TBH, the taste of it was also questionable. We definitely will avoid their salmon in the future. This place is a Japanese-inspired eatery serving ramen, poke bowl, and robatayaki place is very aesthetically beautiful with the clean line at the counter to sit, but just not now during the pandemic times. You can order easily using their pad to pre-order but you must pay by credit card or wait in line to make your order and pay either in cash or charge. The employees are nice and during the height of the lunch crowd, they handled all the orders very quickly.

2 stars for the nice staff! Ordered the poke bowl with salmon. I am not even sure that you can call what they put in the bowl salmon.. it looked like some kind of condensed and then cubed meat.. judging by the guys tuna poke bowl photo below it doesn't look like that was much better. The toppings and ingredients were good but it was absolutely drowned in ponzu sauce to the point of inedible. This place could be decent but you DEF need to get a different fish supply and lighten up on the sauce.

Within the old Bell labs building, there's a unique food court now established as Bell market. Here you'll find Jozu ! Limited hours typically Monday through Friday 12 to 2:30 PM. Jozu has a limited menu but their choices make my mouth water in anticipation. Today I had a Poké bowl, ($12.50) with Ahi tuna, Seaweed salad, daikon, and Kim chee ! Wow the flavors and textures Were well balanced. Customer service was friendly, With plenty of seating for indoor dining. Currently, there Ramen was not available(July 21), but assured it should be within the next few weeks. I will be back! Follow me on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and here on yelp. As I travel the world in search of the perfect bowl of noodle soup. @noodlesoupr
