This is the closest to a home cooked Sunday dinner. I love this place. They really treat us like family when we are here. Food is excellent! Very kind and friendly. Love this place!!!!!

First time at this place and will not be going back. The lady who was there was complaining that we didn't reserve a room from the day before, since we were bringing a team, mind you the place was empty, we called before going and we brought 5 girls and 4 adults. She waited for everyone to get there before she put tables together, and was so unhappy she had to do so.... And again, there was no other customer in the store

My office orders from La Ginestra every Tuesday faithfully for years and they’ve never disappointed. Amazing Italian food, perfect pricing, and even more Sal & Angela (owners) truly care and always have a welcome smile! Love love love La G!

Came here without knowing what options they had, because I was riding with some friends to see some live entertainment. We came here and were very pleased with the food. I got pasta with seafood and like it.
The people here are very friendly and the place was very quiet with all the others around us.
I didn't think the food was going to be this good here, but I was surprised and will come back to try other things when I am in the area.

Rude customer service they wouldn’t let me in the bathroom but at least the pizza is good
Usually not someone who leaves a bad review but for $50 this was a bit frustrating. Chicken Alfredo was a bowl of noodle milk with two pieces of meat.
Their signature pizza must have been made with dough that was a few days old. Tons of oil dripping off of it. Disappointed since this is a neighborhood spot.
If I could get refunded I would.

I have been to this spot a few times and never have I been greeted by a smile or hello. The food is overpriced for the quality. I gave it a one star because there is sanitation issues with person behind the counter touching slices with their hands in and out of the oven while handling money. Not cool. I pointed this out to the staff and wasn't given any response. Won't be going back!

I'm not sure if it was an off night or what, but our poor server was absolutely weeded and overwhelmed. She was so sweet and kept apologizing and I felt bad she was left by herself. Took an hour for us to be addressed, we kept getting forgotten, a local/regular had to intervene and get us water, then the server brought it to the wrong table. Appetizers weren't bad, wings and burrata were good. Our entrees were not good. The marinara tasted different on every plate (pasta and pizza dishes), some too acidic, too sweet, too sour, no seasoning or flavor. 2 people were nauseous and sick after. Not coming back.Edit to clarify: I know the sauces were different, my comment was that there was something wrong with all of the sauces from different dishes with different sauces.We couldn't get ahold of anyone to deal with any issues. Our server was nice and it wasn't her fault so we were not going to put it on her. There were no solutions to the issues we had. Remaking a dish or ordering something new was not going to change anything. We didn't need anything removed, we paid and tipped accordingly and left.

Not personable, but could be due to cultural differences. Dining room was very cute. My chicken for takeout was rubbery, but friends liked theirs.
