We’ve been visiting Mabel since the outdoor bar opened this summer, anxiously awaiting the completion of the restaurant space. We finally made it last Friday, and then went a second time in less than a week, if that tells you something. The space is perfection, somehow homey and inviting despite being in an industrial building. The menu is top notch, there’s something for everyone. Blown away by this secret gem. Food, drinks and service was superb, so much so, we cancelled reservations for a birthday dinner and made plans to come back here. This is a “sister” restaurant to Cardinal in Asbury, and IYKYK. Order the mushroom sandwich!!!!
Though I got stuck in conversation and didn't photo all the food. We ordered most of the menu with our table, everything was great. I want to highlight the beef tartar, pulpo (octopus)the meat balls, as a basically carnivore eater these were fantastic. The ladies were all over the cheese board!!!
