The food here is PERFECT!! We had such a wonderful meal on our first night at Lake Hopatcong that we wanted to come back a second night. I wish we had because no where else was as good as Byram Bay. The pierogies, chicken and seafood were all fantastic. I didn’t see that there is a water view here but honestly it’s not even worth going to the water view places that have sub par food when you can come here and have the best meal.

Fabulous restaurant! The food was delicious, very fresh and enjoyable. Had a baby shower there for my daughter-in-law. Everyone raved about the food. Portions were very generous. The perogies, potato pancakes and goulash were amazing and that is coming from a Polish family. The deserts were generous portions and were just as amazing as the rest of the food. Chef Mike was very personable, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. What an amazing chef! Highly recommend this restaurant. Look forward to going back when visiting in the area.

So I waited to try a local place with high hopes .
Place is a bit loud being a wide open floor plan . I do like the new design just a bit loud being. On to the food . I will say this as a PSA . If you have a salt restriction you will not be happy . Most dishes seemed to be to salty. My mother who coats everything in salt stated to salty . Not a criticism just a person perception . Had mushroom soup . Very very tasty . Bit high it seemed in sodium . Mom had the jerk shrimp . They were great . Had a very nice spice to them . I had the burger and was tasty and cooked perfect . Brother in law had hunters stew and he enjoyed it .
Not slamming a local business just giving a honest opinion . Staff or owners seem to be very attentive and I hope they make a good good it . All local businesses see. To be struggling and I hope these are not a deterrent to going just ask before you order .

We had a birthday party for over 40 people at Byram Bay Bistro and it was perfect!! We had the entire place to ourselves and were able to arrange it just as we needed. The owner was SPECTACULAR to work with — she was so accommodating and provided guidance. She was very responsive and warm. I trusted her with the menu and set up and she delivered above and beyond our expectations. Everyone really enjoyed the food. She even helped arrange cake delivery. She was truly amazing and helpful in planning and during the event. We asked to stay longer because we were having such a great time! Highly recommend Byram Bay for parties for their food, atmosphere and service.

My wife and I came back again for dinner and we both lived it! I had the Polish Mushroom Soup for an appetizer and the Jerk Lamb Chops entrée. The soup is my favorite and I have had it everytime I have been here. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and were so good. We were too full to have dessert but we got 2 desserts to go. Try the Polish Apple Pie, it is fantastic. Our server was so nice and attentive and was always nearby. She did a fantastic job looking after us and making sure we were happy with everything. Thank you all for a great night out.

The service and atmosphere were fantastic. Food has a different twist that was very good. I had the snapper and it was perfectly done. The pierogi’s were so good. The deserts were some of the best we have ever had.

Me and my wife had dinner here after visiting Waterloo Village. Everyone who worked here was super nice. The service and food was excellent. We enjoyed our dining experience here and we would go back here. The atmosphere is nice, but i feel it could be a little more cozy and a little more island vibes. Since the menu is a mix of polish and Jamaican food. Anyway... great food and excellent service and overall nice restaurant.

I went with a friend of mine and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We both had peroges to start. My friend had bronzino and I had the salmon. We both like everything plain but Dave made sure we got out food the way we wanted. He was amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to enjoy a meal at this great restaurant.

Great new place in town! We’ve dined here twice now and once with family from out of town. Overall, amazing food very fresh, friendly service and cute place. Highly recommend stopping by and it’s byob. PS the Polish apple pie is home made by the owners mother from Poland - absolutely amazing. We may host our next family event here. Overall 5 stars all around!

I was happy to stumble upon this place and try something new. The servers were very welcoming
and the environment is spacious and I love the ocean cam on the tv.
For appetizers we got crispy wings with a jerk dry rub and the mushroom soup. Wings were well cooked, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The mushroom soup was really warm and cozy, and has an abundance of meaty mushrooms.
For entrees: the Rasta pasta with shrimp and the grouper. The grouper was fresh and not dried out at all. The pasta was not overcooked, and the baby roasted tomatoes added a nice touch. The Rasta pasta is unique in flavor and was accompanied by several different crunchy fresh veggies.
Our server mentioned that they are changing up the menu often, so I’m excited to see what’s to come.
